  1. Paid that today and 2 weeks ago.
  2. I just would'nt wan't a replacement one of the actual one I had fitted as I split after less than 1500miles, draining a full tank of oil out, I got the one I got as I was pointed to a place that sold em, rather than to chance an alfa one off ebay. Wish I could get one for a fiver :D
  3. OK m8 listen up (been there last week..............) what you have to do is download a program called NLite http://www.nliteos.com/ if you've got the bottle to format and stuff you should be able to sail through this. This software will use your copy of windows xp disc, write the raid driver in with all the other windows drivers and stuff and then make a disc with a custom copy of windows xp on it for you. :) Then just select boot from cd in the bios there is no need to press f6 at the promp screen as the drivers that you will require are already on the windows disk. Let me know how you get on m8. Also has guides on net and on their site.
  4. Well Impressed with the customised gauges Phil  (read smart ass) joke lol. did the oil pressure sender come with the gauge as if it did that only had 1 terminal on and mine worked great till it split and started leaking oil. My replacement has 2 terminals on it.
  5. No m8, its just got pro on it, but it can change to 7 different colours, its made by savage and I think the range has just been rebranded - the fast and the furious, how sad is that.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Oil-Pressure-Gauge-Fiesta-Pulsar-Impreza-Cosworth-FFG3_W0QQitemZ230135004910QQihZ013QQcategoryZ40199QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem they look the same as those but looks like the've altered the text in the black bit :headvswal now do I buy a replacement fast and furious gauge or do I try to find a pro branded one............lol.
  6. Cos I need the car in a few hours just been out for a quick play.......but now I think the gauge is broken PMSL. It wont move at all. This is typical. I got the gauges as presents just labeled Pro (not expensive ones) the sender I have recently bought is manufactured by autogauge. I connected the ground to the starter motor mounting nut. This seems more than adequate to me?
  7. Very simple question it's laughable but seeing as I'm totally ill, I'll have to ask. Oil pressure gauge sender started leaking so I have replaced with another, the replacement has a ground on it. I have wired it as you would, but when I turn the ignition on the needle just shoots right over. I have turned the 2 wires around sender and ground but still does the same. I know this is so simple but can't think, lol Thought I'd do a quick job on the car last night as I wanted to be active as I've been in bed and doin nothing till last thursday. The sender and the gauge both have grounds on but are not grounded together. many thanks
  8. I've currently got a chest infection not hostpital stuff though
  9. Yep new smilies required, but that's it :D
  10. Mine sounds like this, cool but why, could the bov's be leaking?
  11. I used the wallpaper stripper, and a few stanly blades.
  12. Cheers Stu One now on order :)
  13. The oil pressure sender that goes in my sandwich plate is leaking, never noticed it was this until the second sump full of oil squirted out :wack: Anyway its an aftermarket sender that I got with the gauge, I don't know where to get one from for a start but it looks like a mechanical sender rather than electrical but I can't see any mechanical ones anywhere on the net. Anyone ever had any similar experiances........... cheers Pic enclosed of my nice little split sender which has been on the car for about 1500 miles
  14. Rest In Peace bud, this is Shocking.
  15. IMHO, its well kind of their fault (no pride or self respect?....) but in all honesty its the this country's fault, don't get me started ;)
  16. :) Same as my 93 UK Car's
  17. Just tested again and a very slight reduction. There is no limit and don't want to talk about fair usage over the phone I have asked them about the policy. I have been known to download more than 150GB a month :nelson: For £10 on top of what I pay for Sky telly it anit so bad :p
  18. This is the result at 16:30, will try again later on.
  19. Bet he wishes he would have just called the car a faggot in the first place, lol
  20. Can download upto 1.52MB per second, I would say it adverages 1.35 MB per second though at peak times. Put it this way - to download a DVD Image (4.2 GB) Takes about 1 hr and 10 mins. Can download it faster than watching it.
  21. On Sky at 16MB at the moment, Its a Netgear router and is pre loaded to use at your address only. Typical router, ariel and 4 network cable inputs. I am pleased with the service BUT I had a problem with a faulty router and lost my internet for over 3 weeks, this was mainly due to crap customer support, but, when I was loosing my patience I got put through to their more techical support team who sorted it out with me straight away, and sent me a new router.
  22. I fancy one of those too, S8 as featured in Ronin
  23. Thats what I do as well, but I can hardly reach (shorter arms lol)
  24. Oil Drain plug is on the drivers side of the sump at the back corner, Filter should be blue sorry can't find a pic.
