  3. There would be no need to at todays prices.
  4. I've got 4 savage pro ones, crap an all. My oil pressure sender broke which resulted in me squirting oil out on my journey, I didnt stop and my the time I got home I was left with no oil. Cheap sender, thanks lol
  5. Just spent some time with it - install drivers cp2101 not the 2101x don't forget to change the com port (3 was default) under the device manager. Connected straight away :-)
  6. They look just the same as the powertrix (?) ones I have just paid £120 for, not seen em close up though.
  7. Well after much help off here (thanks guys :) ) I aways manage to do all my own jobs now which I wouldn't have attempted before. Probably be a hard decision to make as I couldn't chicken out and start taking the car for work to be done as maybe I wouldn't have any back-up from another forum. I asked a question on the evo forum once and no replies? but while having a quick browse I knew I was out of place.
  8. I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-N1. 8.1 Megapixels and a 3" touch screen at the rear, photo quality is excellent and the battery life is really good too. The only downside is although the MP4 video (or whichever format its in) is really good quality but it does take up a high amount of storage space when filming. I paid over £300 for it but that was 18months ago.
  9. Hi bud, welcome to the club :) You don't need dump valves as these cars are fitted with re-circulating valves as standard, which put the air back into the car instead of releasing it into the atmosphere which is why you get the pssst noise. I am actually going to bin my leaky dump valves next week and put my re-circs back on.
  10. From what I have read evo's tear off to 40-50 mph then they get reeled back in. I could be wrong? Jay make sure to report back!.
  11. It has a few clips to hold it in place but it is bonded on. Bitch to get off best using some string/wire and sawing (use water to lubricate) through it starting at the edges, I pulled the edges up first.
  12. Adjustable Anti-roll bars (whiteline) Adjustable tension rods.
  13. Yep tried xp,98 ect... I got a new laptop cos I didnt want to get an ebay one with poor battery life and unknown condition. I actually borrowed a old laptop from a guy in work with the intention to buy and it did'nt even have the guts to run datascan, it sorted out my traction control though.
  14. When you accelerate the weight of the car goes to the back, rear wheel drive = more grip.
  15. Jesus! sorry your cars totaled bud, but at least your tickers still goin.
  16. oh I know vista is crap, but to be totally honest this is the only time I've every had a legit version of windows, would like to keep it on really as I don't intend to use the laptop much and I may as well get used to it in small doses. I know nothing works on it as I installed it on my PC when I upgraded it 2 months ago, it lasted 20minutes before I formatted again, lol
  17. Not really what I had in mind Dave, but may have to consider it
  18. Have I got a cat in hells chance?............. got a laptop from PC World on Sunday with Vista Home Premium installed, I have managed to get a driver but when I select the correct port number the datascan software wont load and says error 8020. Anyone have it running in Vista? Cheers I have read some threads about it not working in XP but my bro had it running on his xp dell laptop straight away last year, he no longer has that laptop though.
  19. no but I can't wait to take the kids to the flicks! downloaded about a month ago but managed to resist!
  20. I bought some massive Brembo Calipers last year from a Rangerover Sport, gave up in the end as the discs cost ~ £450+ each including hubs. Thats before brackets were thought of, too many variables to consider so I let it go. just a thought m8 before you buy.
  21. Front discs look a bit small? (safety first, lol)
  22. Manual conversion parts come up for sale here from time to time and if I can remember rightly they come in at around £700? Can anyone back me up?
  23. I find its 3.7, but you've probally filled up by now. :p
  24. Baby pulled a speaker off the top his nans telly by the wires, got a trip to the hostpital and a bump on the head. :( He's fine now.
