Respray quality
Hello bud, Problem is not the quality of paint, his spraying seems top notch. What seems to have happended is there are bits where there are either specs in the paint or there are pinholes in places where I imagine they missed with the stopper. As I said, they haven't finished it yet and I just wanted opinions on what I should accept ;)

Respray quality
Hi Guys, Just wanted to know peoples opinions on resprays. What sort of quality do you expect from a bodyshop. I realise it's never going to be as good as factory but what would you be happy with? Mines in pearl white and I know imperfections show through more in a pearl and obviously can only be flattened so much but I found quite a few marks still on the car but it's still got to be polished so I didn't say anything............ Cheers Vijay

get yourself the resistor (think it was 1 Mega ohm but would have to search) and bypass it as a temporary measure till your new one arrives. Then you'll know if that's causing your issues :)

Resprayed!
Barry, could you take some pictures of the dynamatting? Wouldn't mind doing that myself. Is it just soundproofing?

Looking good, seems there's a few of us that'll be getting our cars back after resprays :) What's the colour going to be?

Finally sprayed
lol, well I'm 99% happy :) The only problem is where the spoiler joins the boot, there is like a crack but it's not actually a crack, it's where the sikoflex isn't smooth enough. The painter is on holiday for a few weeks but they said I could take it away and put it back together, then bring it back in to be done. Have to honest, I'm a bit cautious cos peoples word means nothing these days so I'm concerned they might not sort out that problem in a few weeks........................... Can't believe there's finally light at the end of this very very long tunnel!!! lol

Finally sprayed
It better be or they can do it again or the next step is to go to court and I really hope it doesn't get to that :(
-
Finally sprayed
it certainly has and I still have grief cos my mirrors are broken/missing and they reckon it's not their problem:xxx:

My Zed so far!
Looking good mate, I'm impressed. Reminds me of mine being done

no, should just be plug and play. What problems are you getting? The only thing it might be worth doing is resetting the ECU so it self learns everything again.

ECU advice???
yep, here's an easier way :) - http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.418

need to go faster???????
I'm not trying to be horrible but you sound like an accident waiting to happen. The Z can easily catch you out especially in the wet and don't forget the stock brakes aren't that great, get to know the car a bit before you start upping the power ;) Take care

Exhaust Removal - HELP
I tried with an angle grinder too and had the same problem. My mechanic brought round a proper exhaust cutter and it was done in 2 minutes. It was a chain on a ratchet type thing. Vijay
