  2. Just spoke to my mate who worked for the met (in the traffic dept), he said on the bottom of your paperwork will be a date the the Police "laid" the information to the courts, it has to be within 6 months of that date. If you can scan the paperwork, then he'll look at it. Vijay

Hello Steve, If I was you I would get your car running right with no error codes before you start worrying about upgrading anything, it's not worth taking any risks................ The JWT chip doesn't have a safety map so if your car attempted to go into safety boost, it wouldn't change any settings. Vijay
  5. Hi, I don't think it's your PTU cos it wouldn't rev properly past 2.5K, it would splutter. Make sure your coilpack connectors are fully pushed down. I had exactly the same symptom a while back and it was one of my connectors not all the way on (only slightly). Vijay

  18. for anyone looking for long nosed pliers, Costco have a full set pliers (long nosed angled x 3 and normal) for about £17 which is ten quid cheaper than I paid for 3 long nosed pliers. Vijay
  19. I would be very careful cos that just sounds too cheap!!! Vijay
  20. also check that the starter motor housing hasn't broke. Mine did on one of the mounting brackets (the bolt screw had threaded) so some of the time the starter motor would not be fully engaged. Vijay
