  9. 2 bolts and the coil pack will pull out. You can also use a screwdriver to do what Mike said :) Vijay
  10. have you checked the coilpack? Do you have a spark? Vijay
  11. I think the first thing to do is swap the coilpack over with a good one to see if it's that. Vijay

  13. Hi, You know those silica bags (small clotch bags with small beads inside) you get with shoes etc, well bung one of those in it and it soaks up moisture. Vijay
  14. what about pulling the ecu plug?? Vijay
  15. Hi Fas, I broke down the other sie of Birmingham and called the AA out. The guy rang for a flatbed which arrived but when he rang his office they said that I had to take it to a local company. I said that my mechanic is London and that's where they had to take it, which they did in the end. The driver told me that they were on a big money saving venture and would try that with everyone but if you insist, they have no choice! Good suggestion by AndyP ;) Vijay
  16. Hello Barry, I don't think the sleeve has anything to do with it, it's just a dust cover. You can get new ones from Nissan, but are stupidly priced. A cheaper alternative (tip from Mac1) is to use universal steering gaitors and cut them to fit (less than a fiver each). As I said, I don't think they are your problem though. Vijay
  17. It was also made by Erebuni, but no longer available - http://www.erebunicorp.com/custrides/300zx95lukas.htm Vijay
  18. I totally agree that if they want it they WILL get it but it's just taking a much precaution as possible. Vijay

Hello Phil, I agree it can happen but I was just saying it's not the rule. Anyways, this is what you'll need - http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=Z32-ARM or you can buy cheaper kits that use metal shims and longer bolts :) Vijay
  23. Hi, With Fas's mates Z being nicked on the weekend and someone trying to nick my mates just before Christmas, I was wondering a couple of things. 1. How come scum can get around Thatcham fitted alarms? I thought the point of these were to cut off various things in the car to stop it being started. How the hell to they trace wires etc in a Z engine bay to be able to start the car?? 2.What can be done to beef up our Z security? Is there any cut off points that can be wired up to extra swiches? 3. Can Bob or anyone else in the know suggest/supply anything out there to stop scum taking what doesn't belong to them? Vijay
  24. I think it's on the Aus site, but if I remember rightly it's a 50/50 chance of repair. Vijay
