A mate of mine had a similar experience with a sierra engine years ago, luckily for him, he checked the price when they came to collect it, had doubled from the quote he was given. He sent them off, he refused to let them put it on their low loader, took it elswhere in the end iirc..

I store the mr2 away, get one of those 'tyvek' covers, make sure it is well strapped down. I got one of those solar battery chargers from ebay, you'll have to fit it to the outside somehow, but well worth it. Leave the handbrake off if you can too.
