  1. My brother in law was asked to provide the gritter for the P45 scene. In exchange he got 5 tickets to last Wednesday and 5 to this Wednesdays filming. I am no 6 on the list for Wednesday, will know tomorrow if I am going.
  2. Happy new year Zedworld
  3. Thanks guys, had a great day..
  4. Fuel pump ? Mine used to buzz when I turned on the ignition but before ignition. Not sure if it did it when I press the throttle though..
  5. Looks ike a cross between a stealth fighter and the stealth boat in Tomorrow Never Dies...
  6. Agree with you bud, he was crap...
  7. I thought towards you until I looked at the heat distortion from the engines and it doesn't look like it has effected the tail like the edge of the moon, so think this is overhead with the plane going away from you.
  8. Yep same speed every time. I had the youngest and her friend in the car so it ended up as a game with them telling me I was going too fast again! Will take the converter out and take it for a test drive to see if it does it again. If it doesn't fail, I will put my old converter back in.
  9. These were cheap. I may well end up buying a UK set (if I see any for sale, they all seem to be Jap ones). The real curious bit is that the speedo now fails at exactly the same speed every time now and comes back on when I drop to that speed. - - - Updated - - - Graham Thanks for this. I will take the new clocks apart and check them out.
  10. Noticed a weird issue with my speedo yesterday that I don't think it has done before. Every time I got to a certain speed, the speedo dropped to zero. When I went below the speed it had stopped at, it starts working again. As background, I bought a new set of clocks a month ago but the speedo would stop working intermittently (and the mileage stopped as well). As a JDM I had a KMH to MPH converter on the old clocks, I wired the new clock the same as the old ones. After checking the wires were all OK, I swapped the converter to the one that came with the new clocks and tried again, same problem and then the clocks stopped altogether. I swapped the old clocks back, but left in the converter from the new clocks. When I had the new clocks, the converter was wired to different screws on the back of the clocks so is this the problem? Anyone had this issue?
  11. You can use any of mine I have posted for JAE's. if you need them in another format, let me know. There were some of Dazvert's on its own from memory.
  12. The warranty in the article is only covered by Nissan US. You would need to see if Nissan UK or Japan offered the same warranty. If you have a JDM, you may have to ship the car back to Japan to get your belts fixed for free. Would be interesting if covered in the UK, my passenger seat belt is playing up.
  13. Halfords will mix it for you. I went there, not expecting too much but the match was pretty much perfect. Just don't use their lacquer.
  14. I had this on mine. There is a little black box connected to the wiring loom in rear drivers wing(near the arial). This often fails and causes the Simpsons you have. I managed to get mine working again the first time by unplugging and plugging back in.
  15. My brother in law could also help you out. http://Http://www.greenpanda.co.uk Tell him you Mark recommended him and he will do you a good rate.
  16. Like this...? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-Female-Flash-Drive-iPod-MP3-AUX-Interface-Adapter-Cable-for-Mercedes-Benz-UK-/270925871234?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1470b882&_uhb=1
  17. I might have a bar with optic holders we could borrow and it is only 5 miles away. It will need the van to move it. Could probably organise a barrel of local beer if people wanted it. Depends on the date of the next JAE and our village beer festival.
  18. Well done Chris, well decerved.
  19. Diaz I will be there in 5mins, will make you a cup of tea if no one else has...
  20. I have been working from my current employer for 8 1/2 years. Been in IT for 27 years !
  21. Well spent the weekend getting the car ready for JAE... Repaired some rust patches and cleared pealed lacquer from from wings and respayed. Not the greatest but all had to be done by the side of the road so no laughing when you see it! Today spent cleaning the car, doesn't look too bad. My daily drive so will need a clean first thing on Saturday, but shouldn't take too long. Can't wait now!
  22. Thanks Andy, got mine today as well.
