  1. was your bumper painted at a different time to the rest.my guss is yes and once corrys finised ill tell you why.
  2. you aint got a hope in hell even if youve spent over a grand on a decent comperssor, ever wonderd why most bodyshops use lecy?
  3. The only way this happens is if they one painted the panle ie the bumper of the car or masked it up seperatly or painted at any given different time.it is possible also that it will be more notice in base and clear and not a solid two pack coulour.is your car metalic silver?

Please let me try to explaine what i mean and in doing so might mean some wired illistrations but here goes. the car is idaling at say 750-800 rpm sound lovely not lumpy not noisey in any way, then you touch throttle now, it dos'nt rev sothly up to were ever you want it holds back for a secound almost if its staving of air then the revs come in thick and fast , now it doesnt matter if you rev it from 1000 rev 2000 rev 3 or even hold it at 4000 revs also it dosent matter if the peddles down hard or soft.now in my book if your car dose not rev nicely through the range like it use to thacking it up the road aint going to make any difference. the prob still there

  7. how can you tell if your car is ruuning in safety mode. bearing in mind i cant run her down the road because shes on ramps. Also not having a fully charged battery shouldnt affect this should it, i only say that because im stsrting her up with jump leads.

  10. Ive got a flat spot but dont know why , are they caused by leaks or blocks or something else.No matter what rev you holding there seems to be a half a secound to a secound delay in the engine picking up , any ideas?

  12. well ive replaced the air filter with a k and n one which has a diameter of 9 inch at the base where the intake is this then runs down 9 inchs to 4 inch at the bottom and it barks like a hudge dog, maybe that might help.
  13. After fitting the newly built tubs and replaced engine i have finnally got to stage where im checking everything. I turn here over she starts up perfect on the buttom im checking iol pressure that sits nice and gose up with a blip of the throttle then im looking at the boost gadge i have a uk tt. The gadge when running on tickover reads -14 and as soon as o blip the throttle shes up to o in the middle but shouldnt she go further is she in safty mode or something i cant run her down the road because its on ramps there is one other issue about breathing but ill look at that tomorow. if she is on safty how do you get her off? cheers.

  19. how do you know you have blown a fuse if you cant find a blown fuse.you have put a switch in line take switch out if alls well then youve wired switch up wrong .
  20. yer but its large as large could it be condensation,ie hudge cooler meeting normal operating temp?
  21. Once fitted and have run car with fmic the other day i had to take off a pipe from the fmic and found surface water in the intake is that normal condinsation and means its doing its job?
  22. See im thinking anlong the lines of a hose and water because using gravity once you have a pull from the other side then surly the iol would still flow although i would have to make sure with what side is the oil comming in and out

  24. need space and so need to move engine oil cooler but the oil feed on the standard uk tt the oil feed comes from the bottom of the cooler and the pipe goes up 8" from the bootom to the top on inlet and outlet my question is can i recolate the oil cooler moving it up around 12" from were it was without causing any cooling problems.there will be much cooler where i want it to go but dont know if there is enough pressure at that hieght to keep the oil following?
