how much dose the engine weigh? cause im needing to set the jack up right or do i just set it up for 2 ton to be safe?;)

any whole whitch has not got a natural materiail to suport it like metal will shrink and or expand and therefofe the awswer is if you have a whole more than three mill it will need to be sunk .ie if you have a hole like the removale of rear wiper blade yourll need to first stop the metal struture around where your welding by tap dyind the whole and then spot and grind then when filling the whole use p40 mixeed with p38 makes for perfecbond grip and non shrink and easy to sand.no shrinkage,sorry i had a drink but ive had two bodyshops night

best way to protect your car if storing it and not using it is. to have a full outside valet so thay use all the silicon products on all trim ect and ether keep her indoors if not then cover her with something so as to keep of the sun.oh and leave ingear handbrake of

when removing engine is it better or easy to split the gearbox or leave it and is it a pig to put back and finnally can this job be done on your kack jones ,never took an engine out before .aways good job to start on an easy one?

no manule and i had fun trying to get to the top two bolts before someone put me right.so to asume theres no tecnique just wriggle the gear box whilst left on a jack.

keep looking yourll find it in the glove box or under the stering colume

once the gearbox bolts are out ,with ref to removing enging is there a procedure to split the engine or just lift until they seperate?:o
