  1. the shitty white stuff was put ther to stop rust ,but that aside cars this old need the plugs to be free of anything.the only thing i can think of is a bad earth somewhere on a conection thats if you have no bulbs out and have note fitted anything of late.do these cars have for instance a brake pad indicator to let you know when brake pads are low and if so that will be that but the connter plug is dirty ,bacically if its not a bad earth or a bulb it will be most cert a rusty or doge connection
  2. nor had mine had any play in shaft and they still boosted but the iol seal has gone,when on inspection on tacking them to bits they where knackerd..dont buy sec hand tubs unless you know the car or someone dose and its been hit

  5. so the valves cost me.4.50 each and i buy a reel of silicon hose.in blue

  9. because im at the understanding that the pcvs can cause smoke from oil build up in them causing smoke from exhaust. why can i not ventilate some how from each cyinder head, and put a breather in or, is this not poss because of pressure issues?

  11. take down the roof linning at the rear not all of it just up to t bar so not to damage or bend roof linning your find it there.
  12. the connectors your lookig for are under the rear foof lining bud the others are right in the tailgate.
  13. am i under the inprestion at you can remove the pcv and if thats the case what dose it do and what would be the concerns if any if removed
  14. its alright ive allready tacken the engine out but split the box ,but doing this on my own i thought it would be easier to take out box and put back inas one unit to make things easyer
  15. gearbox removal, going to take mine out sat .because prob easier putting engine back as one.

  21. i cant just plug and play then. is it a diificalt job to see what injectors i might have. basically im having my tubs recoditioned with 360 roller bearings and the oil seal has a lip or something or over but the chap sad for an extra 100 each tub hill bore out and put in bigger ,an upgrade to t28s. my car has goot a boost controll fitted and its going to go back on with a lmic.ps what other pipes will i need.the oil feed pipe to the tub is metal.

Im no macanhic and never removed an engine yet until now ive just removed mine and last weekend got a tub off .one to go. id just say take you time .i never toched steering or alternater nor did i remove subframe just lostened for the box.and yes i was on my own.take care and time good luck.ill keep an eye on your thread
