  1. If it was hand held camera, or in a van then these are totally unreliable. Write back and tell them you saw them and you were only doing 28mph and that you wish to see See. 1) what equipement type they were using. 2) How it was mounted to a static tripod or similar none movable fixture. 3) When it was last calibrated. 4) What the windspeed was that day. 5) A plan of where the gun was sighted and the angle at which the beem could therefore be aimed at your car. 6) A Copy of the manfactures operating manual, not the UK distributor. If they then write back to you and tel you that they do not have to disclose any or all of the above. You just write back and ask them if the law has changed, because it clearly states that "anything you may wish to rely upon must be given in evidence. That that evidence must be made available to either planetiff or prosecution. Falure to make such evidence available renders it inadmissable in a court of law." In other words what ever equipement, or their ussage of etc must be made available for screwtany. If they do not furnish you with full information then they are denying you the oppertunatey to explore that avenue of your deffence. Therefore any finding would be unsound. However most majistrates do what the CPS tell them so You usually have to appeal. Then it gets chucked out because the equipement is not being used as proscribed by the manufacturer.
  2. Hey I know where there a fantastic Dennis fire engine for sale. 14 ltr V8 loads of chrome and a really load sound system.
  3. I hope it is all you desire Si but, they were the exact same sentiments I expressed about my wonderfully good value for money purchase of a Dark blue Leguna 1.8 RT Sport. Well when you do check one out as a daily drive. I always hated Mondeo's, but am really impressed with the 130 TDCi. I might even buy one
  4. Well anyone want to buy anice low milage Ford Ranger Thunder Crew cab all singing and dancing cheep.
  5. If its hurting that much then get shut and buy a tidy NA, wazz some TT injectors in and a induction (I'll have and Apexi induction for sale cheep soon) and get JD to chip it. Cheap with all the cudos and some go.
  6. Si I don't know how you'll live with it. They are underpowered and generally underwelming in every department. The only thing they do well is keep you dry while getting you from A to B in the most un entertaining way. I'll wager inside a month you'll be looking to replace it. Personally I'd be looking for a 2002 Mondeo 130 TDCi Ghia X. They are a tonking good motor for not much more money.
  7. I'll be there for Billing. Its a good venue
  8. Yep iTunes will convert them all no problem
  9. Stu you say you've spent nearly £60k on your car. How much of that was mistakes that you then had to redo. How much of that is consumables like Tyres, Brakes, Clutches, Oil, Service parts and labour cost. Finally having got the Tshirt and knowing what you know now would you agree with me that reading threads on here people are still making the same mistakes and falling into the same pitfalls. I haven't spent £60K but can quite easily add up £40K ish excluding cunsumables and what car cost on top. In 2000 a November 94 UK Z (well imports were as rare as hens teeth then) was best part of £16K Not trying to hijack your thread Bantambunny. What's wrong with your car now or is it just a general I fooking hate you your ruining my life vibe. Which we all get I asure you. I also think you either have to buy one thrash it then break it when it breaks or you have to bite the bullet and decide what you want from it and aim for that spec. I tell you it's like being married, but not as costly :D You know you'll feel different in a week or two.
  10. He must be back then. Remember he is a jock and won't needlessly waste money :slap:   hope you had a nice Holiday Mr :D :D :D
  11. He was in Bulgaria is he back???
  12. The front is a copy of the original WestWings Shogun. it has been copied buy Bomex, Scarab, Greddy and uncle Tom Cobbly and all, but all the copies are fiberglass which isn't the best material for a front bumper. The Genuine WingsWest is polypropeline which doesn't shatter if you catch it and is a staight fit and paint job rather than taking hours of prep to get it ready for painting. Both Luke at http://www.zcentre.co.uk and MJPauto 01277374201 can get hold of genuine WingsWest, but you must stress you want a genuine WingsWest or they'll get you a fiberglass copy.
  13. like this which is yours for £150 + p&p SE eliminator same as Mac 1 and loads of other people have. It has never been used and cost £300 new.
  14. Ah well mine was the original Ford Imperial blue Z and much copied since. Infact that Plenum balance bar on your car was my Old Auto bar which Chris snaffled in about 2003 and went and got his car painted the same colour about a year later. So that makes our cars related
  15. I'd give Kirbz a PM. They were originally on his car. He sold them to Chris with a spare set of Discs
  16. Oh yes its a must if your going to make your enginebay look smart. + if the engines out you really can't put it back unless you clean it up a bit
  17.    Pure Quality
  18. It all depends on the electric fan you buy. The Pacett fan I fitted is deffo far superior to the standard viscus fan i used to have. (which was Brand New only 2000 miles before I changed it and it anyone want to buy it make me an offer.) I actually think it is a bit overkill, but I initially fitted it because "my newly built engine and turbo mods etc" ( courtesey of GPS ) (That is a different horror story) had overheating problems amongst other things and the Fan was recomended by a close friend who builds racing Porsches. It did keep the temps down. However after Phil a C & S Wood built my new engine I have had to ajust the thermo switch settings to ensure it doesn't over cool. + I have had also had to install a thermostatic valve on the oil cooler to ensure that normal A road and motorway driving doesn't over cool the oil, because the engine temp drops due to my oversized oil cooler. I'm even thinking of reinstalling the aircon. Pacett Fan I think is a must for racing but for normal hard road use maybe an extravergance
  19. Very impresive   Fingers cross and look forward to seeing the results.
  20. Someone Like John Dixon proberbly be able to do the remap. If your looking for the engine swap it depends where you live. I always recomend Phil at C & S wood because I've had some rubbish experiences at some other garages, but the work I've had done at C & S Wood has been faultless. I carn't speek about other garages on here cause I've no experience other than they have been helpfull via the forum when ever I've sort advice and they know what they are talking about.
  21. Heard on TV today that they were looking at all gas guzlers. I really hope that it is just for + April 06 cars or I'm Screwed with all 4 of mine.
  22. Or everyone should pit a link to their rides in their sig
  23. I ask for this weeks back. It is a pain when you want to nick ideas and you have to search all the rides to find who's car you want.
  24. It just looks so much smaller and simpler. I bet that wouldn't involve the same heat soak problems because the airflow round the lump and some serious weight savings. Looking at it I carn't see any reason why it wouldn't just drop in. Though you'd need a live remap.
