  1. Better cos they're a proper Tyre  I've just put them on the C70 T5 and they are as grippy a tyre as I've had on the T5 and on par with the Bridgestones SO3's (lets hope the last longer) Good in the wet and dry. I've have Mitchelin Pilots (not too bad but not brilliant either) Goodyear Eagle F1 (poor in the wet + couldn't set off without wheel spin) Perrelli P6000's (on par with Pilots) Verdestien sport (quite a good Tyre) Toyo's are a OK but like the pilots. They aint Bridgestones. These New Perrelli's arn't far off though
  2. C&S Woods as the man said

  4. Thats why when most people paint em they paint em blue :D :D
  5. They don't exist anymore mate, do they?
  6. Leigh I've had 18 x8.5J fronts and 18 x 10.5J rears for about 60% of my almost 6 year Z ownership (30% in a garage  ) and the handling improved greatly. However don't go bigger than 275 on rears or you'll get rubbing with your car being so low.+ If you go larger than 235 on the front you get rubbing on full lock ,but you gstart to get pritty scarey whitelining. (where you car is pull about by the contures on the Road)
  7. Or you could just buy my NA subframe thats got brand new bushes in and never been used, but then you'd need my NA diff, prop and drive shafts which have virtually no wear on them at all. £400 Its a very popular convertion in the states as it make you car accellorate like a scolded cat, get rids of the HICAS and generally improves handling. Oh yes you need my NA Box Clutch and Fly wheel say £650 the lot.

Karl I personally wouldn't touch boost jets as you have no control and it only takes one spike the cost you a 1K+ repair bill. Pritty much as Sgt says, but i'd defo go for a good boost controler such as Apexi, Greddy or HKS and get a John Dixon Chip so she runs sweet.
  9. Got firing positions sorted. Now faze sensor is up the spout. As in its been moved. How do I set it up properly. I carn't even find it on the on line manual.
  10. Cheers SRRAE. I didn't know that was there. Top job will get that sorted.
  11. As above and also are there different colour wires for each in jector. Big do putting new looms and connetors for above on and auto sparks has done one after stripping all old connetors off and left no indication of which has come off which. :headvswal
  12. Happy birthday mate. This is the start of the count down to the big 40  So plenty of the amber necta and you'll soon feel fine. Mind you then the next thing you know you have a pie belly, but the amber necta cure works here too. Life gets simpler once your old enough to understand why :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: :wack:
  13. If you'd been an Art Student mate it was a regular feature of the all weekend partys. (does it mean you and 3 birds or you and 2 birds. I'd still have to say the same) :nana2: :nana2: I got 75% and thats no to any same sex or botty f**king even with women. I bet if I answered regarding the last few years of marriage it would be no where near that score though.
  14.
  15. Make sure you get all you issuse put in writting to the dealer and keep a copy. This means A) you mean business B) he has to fix em all even if it takes 6 months of going back and forth, because the faults have all be raise before the 3 months is over. Is this car a new into the county import by any chance? If so have the Tyre checked as they may be the sorce of the vibration. I the sit on the docks in Japan too long durring their summer. The tyres get flat spots and disformed with standing in the heat. If how ever it is the prop Well I have a complete Auto prop With a perfect centre bearing and if you want it its £120 and its about a 1 hour job to change over. If I was buying a Z from a dealer then I'd expect it to be spot on and not as Christopherdavi says. These are not everyday shit we put up with.
  16. That is well OTT unless it was a brand new bearing.
  17. OOOW Cheers matey. By the way Arthur that looks a nice slick to shorty and defo the best colour
  18. Talk about coloumbias finest. Last summer I went to put some rubbish in what should have been my empty wheely bin only to find it full to the brim of Jamacas finest. In the light of the fact that Three local postmen had been shot in drug related crimes I decided to inform the old bill as the was about 25K of Bush there and I never took a carrier bag full just in case at all. :wack: :nana2:
  19. Oh I have missed your Sartorial eloquence Duffers. Your definitive conclusion of Chris's appendage and his persuasion for beastlyness. :slap: FFS I PMSL   Comon Chris Your nor going to take it lying down.
  20. Yas that is one sweet looking shorty. Don't add any body kits or anything because she is beautiful as she is. Nice one Yas the wheels finish her off a treat.
  21. Yep I totally agree  :nana2: Thats completely knackered, but since I'm a caring person I'll help you out and give you £500 for it (we need a wistling smiley with his hands in his pockets looking from side to side) Seriously if they do right it off and you don't want to fix it I'll buy her off you. For the buy back and +
  22. Well it won't be the Cat then so its got to be maping as they have the same tubs as UK and Jspec. I Don't know the exact why's and wherefores but all this "well a standard Jap this is 310bhp" etc is poo because we can all find articals to vindicate or storys dependant on how biast you are. I read an artical last year in Banzi where they dyno tested peoples cars that where claiming big HP and they were all miles out. Most of the Scooby's That clained to be 550BHp were actualy more like 380bhp. They tested about Thirty different motors some of which were 20 to 30bhp down on what they were supposed to be as standard, because you just carn't bolt on any old tat and expect more. it has to be a proper tuning set up. I'm sure the guys at thor will tell you what the true story is. I know this that. At billing last year the most powerful Scooby to be dyno tested was a black one. It only just topped 360 RWHP and that had bigger tubs intercoolers ECU chipped and boost controler. (really does it mater if someone thinks its faster and that makes em happy)
  23. Hi Kevinc Firstly I have to say yes you were silly going out in the snow with a Z if you didn't have to. :nono: :slap: However you've learnt a costly lesson and you survied to ensure you can put that lesson to use in future, cos at the end of the day its only a car. :) Lee at Wrexham auto craft would pull that straight to within a few microns of what it originally was and which is proberbly closer to original than it was before the accident. :smash: I saw them pull a Mondeo straight that had hit a tree and the entire car pushed back 3.5" on the drivers side. The hatch sat an inch behind the rear edge of the drivers side and 2.5 inches beyond the rear of the pasenger side. Unbelievable, I thought they'd just write it off. No they just put it on the 40 ton jig and :smash: :smash: :smash: til it was straight. When it was finish you couldn't tell it had ever been in a bump never mind a 40mph collision with a tree. I wouldn't what to drive or own it though. However I agree with Dave and think this is very repairable. Infact another friend of mine Andy who owns a bodyshop is fixing a 300ZX with a worse front end smash than yours. Pair of headlamps, New 99 spec bumper, bumper strengthener, headlamp pannel for about £400 from Luke at the Z centre and all brand new. Paint and :smash: :smash: sraightening about £1000 max. Plenty of bonnets, oil coolers aircon rads and Fans for sale on here for buttons. I've got nearly all those bits so if they do write it off I'll have it off ya for the buy back and get her sorted.
  24. 6 years ago you would have to pay between 8K and 16K for a late UK car so I recon my 94 UK has lost a lot more than a grand a year.
