  1. I did 2 and my mate Dave did 2 in the volvo and my brakes and rear tyres were completely fooked. + I used over 1/4 tank of fuel perlap. Brakes will have to be replaced in next few days. New Discs and pads
  2. Cheeky Coont I set off 5 cars after you (40 seconds ish) and caught you up in a third of a lap. Then my 2 ton auto hide clad living room had too much lag on kick down kick down to get passed you balking me. Yes you kept me behind and that showed as my next lap was nearly 2 minutes faster. Having said that, you did really well for a 2.0ltr TDI Golf and I'm sure you can drive. It was a great time and Thanks for all the effert people put in to make make it all come together. Thanks for everyone that went being sound as it could easily have been a disaster with such a diverce bunch. So when we going agian????
  3. Well I had a Tim Digital gauge and that was always around 75 to 85, but I changed it and got all new Greddy Gauges and the temp variance is much greater. Sits around 80 around town 85 motorway and as high as 95 when getting full boost blasting through.
  4. Well having had the shits for 2 day's it was sore enough to start with so they used savlon instead of KY and it's much better now :wack:
  5. Chris C's new user name should be Horizontal because he's so laid back he vergess on catatonic. Got to say top bloke and Jason who should have the username Pit Crew for the amount of time he spent under Chris's car fastening the bits we found in Chris's boot back where they belonged. There no use giving Deve8 a sat nav any way, because he'll put it in his jacket pocket and forget then have every one looking for it all day  :)
  6. Hey Chris you might think we carn't drive your cars properly, But I went round the ring in my Volvo faster than all but Jason (in a Z TT) + the Aussy fella was an ex Formula 2 champion and raced and still is racing cars all his life. He also told me later that he'd done the Ring many many times before and the big difference in time could be made by knowing which blind brows you can nail it full gun through. This is where I suspect most of us lost the most time and just knowing this (which would come from going roung the track more than twice) could shave as much as a couple of minutes off anyones times. All that said though the bloke was pretty amazing for his age and a true die hard Zedder. A big up for Len the man.
  7. I haven't laughed as much for ages. This week was a complete hoot. Wosser your a complete and utter nutter in the nices way. Oh and thanks for the message on the back of me car ya barstool :wack: See you at the next one, but i'm sure I'll hear ya first :x:  :duffer: Sound people Sound time might even be looking at organising an October trip as the locals recon the weather in October is perfect and track not as busy. What a storming place. Think sleep might be a good thing now. Loads of photo of cars through black Forest, but left link cable in office so i'll post em Monday.
  8. Where are we all meeting?
  9. I know its a vacumn leak, but I just haven't got time to sort it. Went through as much as I could, but couldn't find any thing. Without a tester You spend a week looking. So it's B car time :headvswal
  10. Oh yes it Cnis didn't get sorted there plenty of room in my Volvo.
  11. Pop Swoosh hish hish and another Z bites The Dust. I know its not something serious (well hope its not ) but not got time to fix it before tomorrow So It's Volvo time me thinks. I am realy pissed off. Better it happen now than over there. I've spent so much time trying to get this car sorted for this and it was going great guns. just hope i've no problems with the Ferry. Well It's not to be. Mind you the Balistic brick will still do 160mph has arm chairs for seats ice cold climate control and they generally don't break down, but it handles like a flat bottomed boat. Oh yes for you mechanical geniouses it suddenly will not idle makes a hissing noise when throttled up anf apperes to be over fueling? litterally one minute fine and dandy next fubar.
  12. What on earth is happening? I'm going and if the Z hadn't been ready then the C70 would have taken me there. So it me Eggy and Mac Kirbz Chris C even if We have to all go over his place and pass the spanners Deve8uk and who else? What happened to every one. Surely if people have paid then they should wazzz it up on the forum for any takers. ASAP
  13. Hey mines going like a good en. Though I'm only going to be running 7psi until she's done about 6K. So not as speed as I'd hoped but in the long term it will be better. When JD gets back of Hols were going to set her up on the rolling road. Then I'll be looking at 17 psi and over boost of 20 psi maybe. Then the fun will begin.
  14. Was it you the other day heading towards Mold on the Denbigh road?
  15. It says 300zx twin turbo targa on the bottom of my number plate and has been so for at least 7 years. I don't know when John who I bought the car for had it put on the car. So when did this law come into force? Cos mine were legal and met the law at the time and therefore still do.
  16. Thought I was answering a PM. This is info that must not go public. So keep what you read under your hat.
  17. Hope the TW@T gets what coming to him and soon

I agree it will be a Z33 as the last Z32's were made in 2002. If it had been a Z32 TT 99 spec that would have been cheep. I bid for a 2001 car with similar milage back in 2003 and I bid up to £24K and it sold in the end at £27 I think. It was Black Pearl with red ancara on all the door cards and seat centers with black leather + the factory white dials, BBS Le Mans style 17" wheels etc. Must have gone for someones collection as I've never heard of the car over here since.
  19. If it was you I past (going the opersite direction) Then I'm sorry I didn't let on only I was too busy timing my Charge to get past the row of cars in front of me.
  20. Well that answers my question. We'll just have to await Mr Nolan.
  21. When you changed your oil and filter did you have to access them through a little trap door with a valcrow fastener, on the plastic pannel underneath. Or, if the trap door has been taken off, through a hole that is square towards the back and tapers off to the centre as it goes towards the front if the car. If you did then there on the wrong way round that should be for you rad drain. God I do talk *****x some days.
  22. Been camping all over France Italy and Spain. Are you Lugging all your own gear or going with Keycamps (who are the best) Canvas (second best) ot Eurocamp (third best). If so Fountenblur is the best site for Paris and Disney Land. Other than that it a case of what kind of holiday you want. If its adventure, kyaking, horse riding, climbimg, walking, Caving or Fishing then there are many different places each with its own attractions. If its a foody and wine type holiday? then why are you taking the kids If its beach and sun then I'd recomend the Langudoc region as it is not as turistic, has fabulas beaches and exellent sites buy the beaches, Best red wine region (my preferance), The med is as good as you'll get any where in france, The French holiday there, So not expensive like Cote du sur (San Tropay and all that *****cks, £12 for a 7" pizza no thanks), Because the French vaconce there, the food is good and there's still tons of Medieval towns and cities to have a nosey around. Britany and Normandy are beautiful and have fantastic coast line + lots of good sea food and doggy Cider but the Atlantic can be a bit much if the kids are small + it you get rain there there's little else to do but eat and get pissed. Beauritz is much like Nomandy ,but with better weather and the bit inbetween on that coast is flat and windswept. having had years of doing this with my kids I'd always go to a static tent sight like Keycamps rather than drag all my own camping gear. For what you save money wise it just isn't worth it, but what you gain in comfort and easy of moving from one place to an other is worth the little extra every time. PS I don't work for the travel industry.
  23. Happy Birthday Yami.
  24. Hale the Bling King is 103 Today Hurray   Happy Birthday Vinz and remember not to drink to much out of those wet bottles as you catch a cold and feel bad tomorrow.
  25. I've just been out and mesured it and its 5" clearance Is yours a genuine Veilside or a copy? Mine is a genuine Veilside and it just fitted on like an OEM bumper no preping just quick rub to key it and paint. Well apart from the fiberglass alterations I made. The car was lowered 45mm on Blitz springs about 2 years ago. My engine isn't bling  , it just a very clean neat and orderly rebuild :p . With function tacking priority and looks secondary Hate the running in bit though, but yep your dam right I'm going to enjoy tonking the living daylights out of it at every oppertunatey. I'm sure it's going to. I cannot recomend C & S Woods enough. Phil hasn't skimped on anything and with all internals replaced with new forged items or uprated she should withsand the daily beeting she's going to get once she's run in. Cheer guys I'm well pleased with the rebuild. Infact today whilst I was a work I parked her outside my office with the bonet up so I could just look out the window at her. How sad is that. Your spent Dave, I'm wrecked and broke now, but its been well worth it.
