Hi Jaffa, how you doing, I haven't heard from you since you left Hackney! Hope you're doing well. Royal, the thing is the insurance already return the car to me. Its safely tuck away in the garage now. However they want to have it back as the repair shop should not have return it back to me. The insurance engineer wont discuss how much he's offering until I allowed their agent have the car. Could i not ask them to pay so I can have repair privately. there is no way I will sell the car or let them salvage it not with all the work that went in. Even if mange to remove the turbos, the motor still cost me quite a lot.

Hi guys, I need some help here. My car has been declare a total loss by the Insurance repair shop following a little accident caused by so weirdo middle-aged man who fled the scene - that is not the problem for me at the moment. My worry is that I just pumped some 5k into the car last year with engine rebuild and new turbos. Got a call from the insurance this morning wanting to take the car for scrapping! Hell no, I said. they reckon its not economical to repair for them, they would prefer to scrap it! What do guys think I sould do? thanks, adef

I seem to me missing something here. I'm a member, since subscribing, I never got a message saying this is your number. There was something similay to this last year of which I sent my detail. Now this new arrangement, I never got any mail from any organiser. Could someone clarify the situation. Is this same as the one we sent our detail late last year?

That is precisely the issue. As far the garrage owner is concern, the two injectors are made for the same car, they are of the same cc then they be able to do the same job! Right? Wrong, I once bought a Beko tv that lasted only 2 years, I then bought a sony and been using it for how long now? 5years. Its difficult to get these people to see. It's not their car so why should they care if it blow a piston or two? The Office of Fair Trading did make worse for me by the stupid clause of "or its equavalent". I'm now running a car with big BB turbos but stock injector and cannot raise boost past 1bar. How pathetic is that! :mad: :( :headvswal

I have been through all that. It is a long story. Drag them to OFT last October for a job done back in August - engine rebuild and turbo upgrade and all that. The garrage initially denied liability. Having gone to OFT, they OFT adviced them to source and fit the same injector or it equivalent - and that is my problem. The garrage is now claiming the Venom is an equivalent. Not really sure of what to do now. my rebuild warranty will run out in July with the same garrage. If I fit it now and there is fuel shortage leading to engine failure outside the warranty period, it will be easy for the garrage to turn aroud and say, it wasn't due to bad injectors

Are these good upgrade from stock. I have a set bought by the garage that damage my Nismo's. I have called the company they order it from - apparently its a UK company and they claim its direct replacement but just need fuel re-map which I already got via Ztech. Any one used them or running them in their car? Thanks Ade

Hi guys, Every time I start my car up from cold (or even warn sometimes), I get this horrendious noise from around the belt/pullies. Ihave tried listening to the source but the noise is too much to actually depict which of the belt accessorries is making the noise. Plus I have tried to adjust the belts but to no avail. the thing is they are all new belts! So Im wondering - could this be fan clutch failling or my water pump dying? I have heard from some where that fan clutch do make noise when failling. Could someone please confirm this or am I mistaken. Help please. thanks

Hi people, Everytime I put on the Ac (or heater), for few minutes, there is a distinct smell of exhaust fume in the car I know the distinct smell because my car is running a bit rich so slight smell of petrol mixed with fumes. Although I recently re-build my motor with new wiring loom, and have check for leakage on the joins in the exhaust system - I doubt if this could be the problem - but then I don't know so that is why stating all the facts here. Also few years ago, I changed my heater metrix and did noticed then that whenever AC/heater was used, we all have sore-throat (the family I mean) but then I took car to Nissan to clean the ac system. I have restraint from using Ac/heater but there time when I just had to switch on and the result is alway the say. Have anyone have an idea of what might be causing this problem. Thanks adef

I've got louvers vents cut of off the bonnet and they been there for two year and no problems except make noise at start up in the morning if you have alloy pulleys - I do have them. And they have to be away from where water could collate

Someone reverse his/her car with towing huk into my left fog lamp, so i order one from conceptZ and just insatlled last week, make a big difference to the look. I should have done it sooner.

This is Esso supreme not the old super unleaded. I used to think optimax hold the cards but definately not after last night (well as far my car is concerned).

Ok I went to refill my tank today and I decied to fillup Esso supreme (rated 97 at pump). Two things I notice instantly I stepped on the gas was (1), throttle response was better than with optimax. (2), car casted longer as well. so I thought, hum.. its my imagination running wild. so I up the boost a bit to 15 psi from my normal drive setting of 8psi. And mine-o-mine, the turbo spoolup was nothing like I have ever felt before. Mind you I have ran 18psi before so I definately know that my mind was not tricking me. Anyone ever tried the Esso supreme?

SpeedyZ post this instruction on how to install electronic boost controller. I have used it to set up my Power-Enterprise Boost controller and no problems. I did it in just over 3 hours. Hi zxers, I went in for MOT the afternoon only to realise the right rear light not working. Now I ave spent the last hour or so trying to rectify if but could not source. I put in new bulds, swap theleft ones for the right one still no luck. However the break-lamps are working though. Is there a fuse that control each side of the lamps? thanks Ade
