I beg to disagree with that. I'll rather install a performance auto box than swap to manual. Auto hold boost better than manual - even with high hp application. I'm not knocking manual transmission cars or anything.

There is single and dual JWT setup. What SRREA is saying is there are two type of dual setup, Chris greedy style and JWT style. I personally prefer Ash dual setup, I have not read anything about Chris setup to be able to compare it with Ash spec, but Ash spec has been prove to be better than JWT. :Peace

There might be a number of thing wrong with your Z. Normal auto Z will kick down to 2nd and depending on whether you're in overdrive or not will determine your pickup rate. It also depend on the condition of you turbos and if you dont have boost leak No auto kickdown to 1st regardless if its a Z or not - so take that of the equation.

That was a marketing ploy that could not be substaintiated that resulted in them removing the octane label at pump in frontcourt. If it can be proven, they would still have the label now!! I still use it though. This debate may change my mind about it.

I see in your signature you're replaced you vacumn hoses, what clips did you used. If they're those with tightnen bolts on them they might have cut into the hoses. Best to use clamping clips. That's what I need to do now with mine.

Shell don't advertise the octane level on Optimax. I have checked over and over, I only go by what the attendant say it is - 98

Auto box dead at 60K km? That is very odd except that trans oil was never changed. Before packing up has it been giving you some funny buzzing noise? as this is ussualy the sign the filter is dirty or need oil change. As its, if its still shifting 1 and 2 don't drive until you have someone change the trans fliud totally flussing everything including fluid in the touque converter. So you will need 2 gallon of dex3 transmission fluid for that in the least and try it after that is done you may be lucky it change all through. even so, you will better off buying another box.

There is actually a wire like element standing on a stud at the center of the MAF. I believe this what measure how much are air flow into the TBs I have also heard that its bad for the MAF to have a wet filter - how true that is, I don't know

Car will still run but air/fuel mixture will be very lean. If you check your exhaust outlet, you will notice black smoke if you have the MAF clip disconnected As for motor not reving above 2.5k to 3k rpm is a symtom of dead MAF. hope that helps

I know tt 1990 to 1994 all use the same injectors, nov? 1994 - 1996 have different ones. Correct? I know i have a 1992 and 555 fits mine.

All the above plus, if your car is a tt, flushing with anything besides oil could shorten the life of your turbo.
