  1. first toad guy i had left the cable too close to the turbo so it welded itself there and would short every time it cooled off, took me ages to find the reason, needless to say they didn`t send the same fella to repair it! Muppets
  2. well we got stuck in poland after flight home was cancelled..no money..cards didn`t work.. no where to stay. But i did have the ring and wanted to make it memorable so after managing to borrow some cash and tagging along with this gay couple to a `hotel` which turned out to be old communist apartments complete with original furnishings..don`t ask! lol I popped the Q. Celbrated with bread, ham, dodgy fizzy orange and a couple of hundred mozzies. Oh n the gay couple! Then all the furniture started falling apart..ah memories!
  3. well it wasn`t me! how rude, i have seen it too.
  4. rooaaar! all it`s missing is a disco ball and one of del boys cigars
  5. what i`ve found with the rear bumper quarters is that if the light seals leak water pools in the wheel well and also if the car is parked at an angle eg a cambered road guess where it drains to instead of the well!
  6. mine`s a 91 uk n the floorpan`s rust free, i had found some grommets were missing though which had caused some water ingress, something to keep an eye on peeps!
  7. yep, you have to watch /inspect your underseal. Also check for missing grommets in the floorpan
  8. Mine has a bit if this, some twat decided to loosen the front sub frame to help with engine removal!!? So he can`t have lined it back up correctly, casters out slightly too..grrr. :xxx: Getting a 4 wheel set up done helped me.

  10. is that definitely the targa tube and not the scuttle area drain, because i thought it came out at the bottom of the car like the rears? If this is the case mine must have a problem as they both exit via the sills.
  11. My condolences mate
  12. I think that, as lets face it, ownership of these cars can be emotional at times to say the least and to stick with them you have to be a certain type of person. So Mr Funksta remember that we will always be here to support each other, that`s what families do.! So go to cornwall! Muster all your strength let the brethren lift your spirits..brother :)
  13. Yeah man, s`what i do for 363.5 days of the year, then off to work! Come on Si HoHoHo!! :D
  14. When mine went i first replaced the master and the slave and also the hose for a braided jobbie, still screwed as my pedal would have pressure with ign off but drop to floor when started. turned out the clutch fork had developed a crack and had been getting progressively worse till it broke, worth checking the inspection hole see if it`s loose.
  15. possibly air entering from a leak somewhere in the system
  16. The DP on TERMINATOR SALVATION, Shane Hurlbut, is a apparently a light tweaker. He's a fairly young DP and likes to fiddle with his lights on set during action, which is a big "NO NO" on most productions unless worked out in advance with performers. But apparently Shane was a pretty unrepentant light tweaker. The scene in question, was a very emotional and tough scene between Christian Bale and Bryce Howard. A scene that required soul bearing and a deep level of immersive concentration. The sort of scene where everyone on set knows not to get in anyone's eye lines, and definitely not to move lights around while FILMING. You lock that shit down before the scene starts. Bale had indeed warned the DP on multiple occasions about messing with lights while the cameras were rolling, and Bale was in the midst of a painful scene with Bryce, what was described to me as being the emotional center of the film and his character for the film. Now, the reason I know all of this is because the person that was there, felt that it should be made perfectly clear that Christian Bale was the utmost gentleman and cool guy on set. And the DP really was doing something that professional DPs with experience just don't do. Not during a performance. FOUND THIS ,EXPLAINS THE SITU.
  17. ERR , wouldn`t the bonnet have to be opened..from the latch..inside the car? :wack: i can`t get to mine from the bumper let alone get my hands round it!
