been removing my interior carpet as it needs replacing and after seeing some recent threads and pics of other uk zeds with the carpets removed i was fearing the worst

 

i was quite suprised to find very little rust, only a previos leaky targa caused this

 

 

 

just two little patches to put on and underseal and thats it

p.s, its soilid underneath, ive had it up on the ramps and checked

always good when you carnt see the road through the car lol

well im not moving mine! hahahahaha

See, fully agree with you Stella, some UK's are good, if looked after. mine flew through its MOT apart from a blown bulb.:dance:

mine is a 92 mate, it has had previous problems with tin worm but it has ben replaced and isnt as bad as some and ive seen some terrible jap cars

Cant wait for Murt to rant about how UK Zeds are not all bad as well :P

 

Just your luck with rust! iv seen imports with Rust after a few years here in uk (non-zeds) all depends on your luck! Mine is spotless for rust apart from a Smudge of it on my oil rad! Will be under sealing it again in a few years!

Might attempt to rip up mine and have a look, Just had one side rear sill done and I found some underseal that had come away further up front on the floor pan :(

mine`s a 91 uk n the floorpan`s rust free, i had found some grommets were missing though which had caused some water ingress,something to keep an eye on peeps!
