  1. The relays are on a bracket mounted to the chassis near the targa drain. You'd need to remove the liner completely to see them. Or your's may be different. It was a thick white wire causing my problems if I remember correctly
  2. Pretty sure there is another relay under the passenger side wheel arch behind the liner. It's to do with uk dimdip. I had flickering hids and upon an unrelated matter happened to notice a corroded wire supplying them. fixed that and cured the flicker.
  3. My fuel pump ecu just had some dry joints that was causing similar issues. Easy to fix if it`s that.
  4. cheers guys..still recovering
  5. i`ve decided not to buy it. did the beta test and it just doesn`t flow like bf4.
  6. pretty sure that you can buy those rear bumper fixing sections from nissan anyway. As Si said though, masking hidden horrors.
  7. Update..twas the hicas ecu. Something had failed in one of the components. Luckily for me Mr Feeney had just the very thing lurking in a dark corner. Issue resolved.
  8. like a spring bulb.
  9. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sika-Sikalastomer710-Rubber-Based-Butyl-Sealant-Caravan-Motorhome-Bathroom-/200970101691 worked really well for me. used it on the targas too.
  10. looks like your cars not got over it`s coke habit! I think that all looks pretty nifty. Well done!
  11. Belated birthday wishes
  12. i have thought about it. did your speedo still read correctly as that side of mine is fine.
  13. ok, so i resoldered the steering ecu but still nothing. Hicas light is on and no power steering at all even sitting at a standstill whereas before it was intermittant. I noticed one of the diodes? looks burnt. Would a bad neutral switch bring this fault on? Or even the steering pot sensor as mines crap and i can never get a reading.
  14. as above..think mine`s a gonner
  15. Yep resolder everything ,both sides
  16. If it is that it'll be pretty obvious once its open. You got a jewellers loupe?
  17. bit of research suggests they are the same but i`d like conformation
  18. Anybody know if a tt swb will just fit on to a lwb tt or is it that just the diff and hubs etc are useable?
  19. Bugger..not permanent. Just taken out for spin. Checked the cruise control as lymon suggested and no it wasn`t working. Every now and then the set light would try to engage. As before, the hicas light came on, steering went a bit stiff until the car warmed up then all came back on line. Cruise working ,steering normal but the hicas light remained. Definitely electrical. and bloody frustrating!
  20. I`ve done mine before, If you need help or advice regarding this feel free. Canvey`s not far from me. We may have met I think. Did you buy my old spoiler off me?
  21. Be interesting to see if this works though!
