  1. Is there any way of changing my username - I used nightbreeder coz that was my old email address but I wanted to change it to Jason. Is that possible? Ta
  2. Im about to have mine lowered by 40mm (I think thats the max you can do on a Zed) - I live in potholey Sheffield so its gonna be interesting.
  3. Im in South Yorkshire (Sheffield) - Im making the trip down to Zworld, coz by the sounds of it (and I could be wrong - I normally am), these guys are worth doing the distance.
  4. I am VERY shortly getting a HKS EVC 3 (Thanks to Robstor) and a GReddy Full auto turbo timer (which I already have) - Now unfortunately when I had the turbo timer in my supra some little scroats down the street decided they wanted it. I want to put these where the ashtray is or something but I need the ashtray flip lid to work so I can cover it at night etc. Any ideas on how to or other locations. Cheers
  5. Does anybody know the best place to drill or preferably use an existing grommet in the bulkhead. I have to run a fairly hefty power cable to an amp in the boot and its a straight live connection. I dont know if there is anywhere under the dash I can take it from - the only thing I can think of is the battery as the cable is already fused. Ta
  6. What do you guys use to get all the grease and crud from the engine bay paintwork? I just tried some Isopropyl Alcohol and it hasnt touched it - then I tried hot soapy water and a green scouring (soft) type cloth - still barely touches it. I wanna clean the engine bay paintwork and the engine itself (Especially the top silver manifold). Ta
  7. Just tried what you said Matty, with the jump lead touching different points - no difference in engine note :( I have noticed mine has straps coming from the -ve terminal. One goes straight to schassis the other goes to the support bar? on the engine. Connected jump lead to -ve on battery and went round the entire engine bay and could not find any difference.
  8. Matty, damn fine idea that. Im gonna try this aft, should the engine be warmed up and just left idling or is it best to do it when engine is cold and tickovers on auto-choke?
  9. Star, Cheers Pete Im gonna have a look under me bonnet tomorrow and may go and do it this weekend Thanks again
  10. Pete, is that 7? different earthing leads just piggybacked? Where did the soldering Iron come into play? Did you just unbolt a bolt then put 2 straps to each? What lengths and thickness cables did you use - just to meake it easier to order from my local car-mart :)
  11. yeah - puts me out a bit, I gotta say 18 and looks 20 would be my minimum if I wasnt with the missus :)
  12. I just been playing with a Digitech RP100 effects processor. For the price you can pick one of these up they're well worth it - fully patch programmable (Brian May sound is pretty good) + a built in drum machine. I got a Yamaha FX550 Effects processor with MIDI on it which does sound better but the cost of it was far greater (at the time I think I paid £450 for it). I might sell it and get an RP200A or RP300.
  13. Mike - your into I.T. too aint ya must be something about us computer guys ;)
  14. greens are for girls ;)
  15. How come I keep getting cold and flu. I forever seem to be sniffling now - spose it dont help working with dusty PCs in a basement.
