  4. Ajay, you emailed me but I didnt get it - any chance of a re-email ;)
  5. does anyone have the same problem that when you go over a pothole (and Sheffields full of em) the rear of the car feels like its on ice. It seems to skit from side to side. Its not bad but its noticeable and I'd like to know if its a serious prob. I spoke to someone the other day and he said his does the same.
  6. anyone remember spy hunter - now that must've took at least a hundred quid in coins off me.

well Im sure you'll end up having a smashing time ;)
  9. I was down in london, not to see maiden though and not in me zed, I watched them a few days earlier in Sheffield - cracking gig. Probably one of the best live bands you can see for showmanship.
  10. Bring on the dry weather, me mate got a g40 and I let him have a drive of the Zed last night. Scared himself silly - however in this weather fast acceleration is a no-no back wheels just keep spinning when your pulling away, cant wait for a dry patch to get a good launch.
  11. Cheers people, Im now looking into it all I might take you up on your offer Charles
  12. if you can mate - either that or email me the pic ta very much
  13. just had a quick squiz - what model is it mate theres about 25 different models
  14. what model is it mate, and can oyu still get your T-Tops in?
  15. Can anyone recommend a decent sub box that would fit in the boot. I need to be able to store the T-Tops too. These boots are far too shallow. I have found a JBL Bass tube but it is 33CM high and causes the rear parcel shelf cloth to stick up, showing theres something in the boot. Not only that its that bloody long I cant fit me T Tops in. I spose I can get a custom made one but I didnt know if anyoine here had bought one and could recommend a model. Ta
  16. I tried turning it anticlockwise and it goes for about 1/4 inch then stops dead what do I do - just crack it hard round? then remove the grub screw? Ta
  17. Morning all. Was gonna buy a new gearnob as mines looking a tad tired - picked one up (a universal one) which has a little grubscrew on etc, but cannot work out how to take mine off? Bloke in the shop said I'd have to hacksaw it off and butcher it then just fit the new one. Please tell me hes off his head and theres a proper way to do this. This is why I like doing jobs myself coz he was gonna fit it for me!!!
  18. Personally, I would have thought that they would need a relay then, but its up 2 you. If you can point me to the specs i.e. wattage, etc I'll have a quick ganders and see if they can be direct wired into your lighting circuit. Worst comes to worst though you may need a small relay. These are easy to wire up tho'
  19. thats what I was thinking :)
  20. The 4" Neon from what I remember recommend being plugged into a cigarette lighter - the reason for this is more current can be drawn from the lighter as its on a higher fuse rating.
  21. Cheers for that - I may just make sure sensor wires are on snug and tight. If not I'll pop it off and plug it up with an old rag. As its a uk manual I would have thought that an incorrectly fitted sensor would not be the case. Im just hoping that some crud is on the connection. Is it possible to inspect without jacking car up as I havent got axle stands and I dont trust Jacks.
  22. So, do I just jack up one side of the car and find the sensor. Does it unscrew? do i need any tools - I take it I can just pull the 2 wires off (are they spade connectors?). Can you check or refurb a speed sensor? Could it be down to poor contact of the wires? If the speed sensor unscrews or whatever am I likely to lose any oil? Sorry for the 101 questions but this is a 1st for me Cheers
  23. Could that be the cause of my heavy power steering?
