What alarm?
I got a Toad Ai606 with Perimeter sensors on both my supra and Zed. Brilliant alarms, but when it rains they both start chirping - this can go on through the night and sounds like bloody crickets!!!! Ive taken both back for setup and they're fine in the dry, but when it starts raining at 3 in the morn and you hear both cars chirping it winds you up big style

Young driver insurance
Not for a zed but for an 18year old just passed for a 1100 saxo. Cheapest online quote so far has been #820 with Norwich Union. Most other main places I tried are 2000 + Anyone know a cheap one to try Liverpool Victoria, Tesco, Axa etc are all ridicously high.

Anonymizer
Anyone here know of a good secure anonymizer account that supports HTTP-S Im sitting behind a proxyserver at work and need the HTTP Address scrambled./. I used to use triangleboy? then I paid for ANONYMIZER account but it was slooooooow. Work are starting to come down on net access and I can get away with it if its scrambled. Ive managed to edit proxy logs sometimes :) but under new management I dont think this will be possible.

Friday funny - well sort of
Five Englishmen in an Audi Quattro arrived at an Irish border checkpoint. Paddy the officer stops them and tells them: "It is illegal to put 5 people in a Quattro, Quattro means four" "Quattro is just the name of the automobile," the Englishmen retorts disbelievingly. "Look at the papers: this car is designed to carry five persons." "You can not pull that one on me," replies Paddy "Quattro means four. You have five people in your car and you are therefore breaking the law." The Englishmen replies angrily, "You idiot! Call your supervisor over - I want to speak to someone with more intelligence!" "Sorry," responds Paddy, "Murphy is busy with 2 guys in a Fiat Uno."

Funny : Naval chatter
Don't think this is actually true, but amusing anyway (especially to our Canadian friends): This is based on an actual radio conversation between a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier (U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln) and Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October, 1995. (The radio conversation was released by the Chief of Naval Operations on 10/10/95 authorized by the Freedom of Information Act.) Canadians: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid collision. Americans: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision. Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision. Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course. Canadians: No, I say again, you divert YOUR course. Americans: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS LINCOLN, THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH--I SAY AGAIN, THAT'S ONE FIVE DEGREES NORTH--OR COUNTER-MEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP. Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call.

B O V,s are they worth
Someone else may be better at explaining but when recircs push air back in its already been metered. Now with BOVs it runs richer for a fraction of a second as its not metered hence bigger bang I think :) Like I Said - someone will be able to explain better
- More Funnies
-
B O V,s are they worth
I know if you run rich i.e. aftermarket chip you may get this - I just thought BOVs highlighted it.
-
B O V,s are they worth
think so Mine stared doing it when I fitted BOVs Mate in a G40 behind me said he saw flame :)
-
B O V,s are they worth
From what I know the air/fuel is then unmetered for a very short time too so it runs rich for a fraction of a second which can give you flames from the exhaust :) I think ??

Offset
that sounds more like it so would an offset of 47 mean I would need a 5mm spacer
-
Rear Hatch Rattle!!!(on The Car)
lol - hassle (sorry :x: )
-
Offset
The offset ofr the zed is 38...42 (I think) Does this mean the front wheel offset is 38 and the rears are 42? I have some Sparco racing alloys with an offset of 47? I think So would I need to put 9mm spacers on front and 5mm on rear? Ta very muchly
