Also done my mirrors slightly different, the metal bit that bolts to the car is normally half black then colour coded to match in with the plastic mirror part. Some people seem to colour code the metal part to the car colour but I thought it may be a bit to much white, im trying for quite a lot of black in with the white. So I had my bro in law powder coat the metal bit gloss black, I've also got roof bars black, plus the centre of the wheels.

Well my car still aint ready:crying: will definitely be done for next Saturday. I couldn't stand the wait anymore to see the colour so he roughly sprayed a throttle cover for me. It was sunny earlier and the colour looked great, much whiter then I expected too. It looks white with a silver/blue tone and got a glittery metallic to it. In the shade looks white to you really look then it looks very slightly grey. Kind of hard to explain, tried taking some pics of the cover but don't really show what it looks like in real life. much happier now was getting scared, when saw the colour without the clear... I'll post a couple of the pics now, hoping next Saturday comes quickly lol.

Few years ago I loved the wide arches and fibre glass bits, now I prefer them standard looking 99spec look with nice wheels. Thats a good point maybe it was bodged on...

Is it just me, but I think them wide arch zeds look nasty...I just think there right has they are. I had to do an mot for one and the way they cut them about beneath the kit dont look great either.

Thats what im hoping once the clears on it will look ok. Yours looks good in primer, see what am I worrying about.

Dont know about exited now, im scared lol... Just cant see them putting a crap colour on the r8 rs5 and ttrs... But it didn't look to impressive yesterday. Just hoping it wont be getting another respray cause I don't like it.

Had a look at the car tonight, the door shuts had the base coat on with no clear, Really am getting scared I thought it was primer... To late now to change, why did I not just paint it white atleast I'd know how it would look...

So it seems most like what it looks like in pics, i was expecting everyone not to like it lol. just got my fingers crossed it looks good seeing it in person... Every pic is different and they reckon its so hard to photo. Most just look white. Thanks for all the replys. Soon has I get the car home I'll get some pics up.

Hi guys, Hoping my zed should be ready to pick up Saturday, I've had my zed sprayed few times before, but I've always had plain white. So this time I've gone for a strange audi colour its called suzuka grey pearl effect, It comes on the r8, and rs5, and special order. I've never seen it in real life, except for a sprayout, looks white in the light, grey/silver in darker conditions, Heres a couple of pics of the an audi with the colour, do u think it will suit a z im getting scared now lol...
