Gave the car a real thrashing for 20 mins or so last night but when i parked up and looked left i noticed a faint bit of white smoke coming from below the car, about level with the front wheel (engine still running ). but when i shut off and got out the smoke had gone and all i got was a burning rubber smell. is this my clutch struggling, or my brakes, or something worse?

i was in the same position as you nearly a year ago - except not even the horn worked let alone the CC!!! i purchased a standard wheel for £50+p&p and am back to normal. so my advice is go for it (just dont go to a nissan dealer as they charge you £750 more!!!)

just been caning along the M1 at about 70 (give or take...) and noticed a strange springy/knocking noise that seemed to come from slightly behind the glove box (but still inside the car)! The noise happens intermittently every 2 or 3 secs, and only after a certain speed (75ish). This happens on a straight flat road at constant speed! I know my front tension rod bushes are boogered but i couldnt feel any bump etc. in the car or steering wheel. (and no there's nothing loose in my glove box! :) ) any ideas?

just got back from the last day - gorgeous weather! agree with you Chris - the 350Z is damn fine - feels like being in the 300 (only not as good :) ) the merc SLR, pork carrera GT and NSX were pretty damn fine as well!

:rofl: :rofl: :rofl: never done that on m.way - only through town! i tend to put the drink in the centre console and the fries on the autobox. reason i dont put drink between legs was when i had to do a sudden manouvre once, shut my legs and my coke hit my face!!! looked like a right nob!

I dont know much about Mines (except they seem to know their stuff when it comes to tuning jappo cars) but 12psi isn't too much to ask, especially coupled with a Blitz controller. I'm running a JWT chip and jets and reach 13ish psi with stock tubs and no probs (as yet!)

he's sold 10 things altogether and most of them are 300 chips (although the rest only claim to give you 10ish bhp increase) - the buyers seem happy. like Tack says, you don't know what make you are getting. don't bid too high IMO
