  1. thats the bulge im after (ooer) - i think it looks great but i dont really notice any change in the rest of the car. maybe just me. always wanted a flip but the cost is just way way too much. still pulling my hair out about the colour, but need to sort bodykit out first, AFTER i sorted the suspension out. (does it never end?!?)
  2. greetings slim and welcome to the club. nice to see YET ANOTHER leicester zedder! perhaps they should relocate 300zx.co.uk headquarters to here now! :)
  3. well b\/gger you lot im off to birmingham for two days. beat that.
  4. ...or a 10-stage flip!  thanx for the reference Rich (oadby's just down the road to me as well  ), will give them a bell later on. the colour i really like at the moment is the audi tt cloudy blue where you can swear you can see clouds in the reflection - even on a clear day!!!

i agree with John - I was driven round an airfield in a gorgeous red one last year (bruntingthorpe) and although its obviously a TVR and therefore oozes looks and performance, the interior felt like it was rattling itself apart (but then we WERE doing 180mph!!!!) :D :D :D
  6. i totally agree, the colour of the car on the left looks great!!! :D not had any quotes yet ya5 - im hoping for about a k. there's supposed to be a guy 'under the arches' (if u know where i mean) who can do it cheap but i'd rather have a good job done. still stuck for ideas tho... bayside blue... dark purple... cherry red...british racing green?!?
  7. lol - yes. my cars been photoshopped about 10 times and still cant decide.
  8. im guilty of that. not crashed (yet) but as soon as i got the car and started playing and the back end came out i respected the 300 a lot more from then on!!!
  9. u lucky b\/gger Matt! Enjoy.
  10.
  11. Hey, who else could it be?!? grrr. :) Well im glad to say ive nearly saved up enough for a decent bodykit from Luke, inc. a wings west front, supra-style spoiler, bonnet bulge and colour change (although dont know which one yet - and no black!! :D just need to sort out my knackered suspension first :(
  12. Thanks for that TT. I've just learned something new.
  13. Aren't the GTR 33s supposed to be the easiest car ever to tune up? And if i remember correctly the touring cars (or whatever championship it was) had to change the rules to remove Skylines cos they kept winning every year. A bit like Schumacker but more often...
  14. yes true, but not when my rear end was snaking all over the bleedin road and trying to throw me into the wall! its actually a mate who owns the lex, but he never gave me the chance to thrash him off the lights  and thx for advice deve8
  15. cheers Paul :D and hey timmy i did do a search... for "Just chasing a Lexus IS200 sport through the countryside" but nothing came up!
  16. go get 'em Chris. btw looks like an NA from their photos (and looks like a Z31 from the back!) maybe they should look up the word 'depreciation' in the dictionary...
  17. hey ya5 i didnt say a word!!! but according to that website above most of leicester is dodgy (apart from the little farmy places in the middle of nowhere! :) ) glad to say im in an ok area, even tho marked as 'refer!!!'
  18. luck of the draw mate. i left mine in a dodgyish place in manchester last nite (but know a guy who knows all the bouncers ;) ) so was fine. Apparently nice cars are ok in nottingham cos everyone thinks they belong to drug barons etc.
  19. welcome mate. a) yes deffo get a replacement filter (and like Richard said expect 5-10bhp for NA and 10-15bhp for TT), b) exhaust-wise i got exactly the same problem at the moment. the exhaust sounds ok idling but goes 'dirty' when revving up to 3000, then hidden by engine after that. my leak is a gasket between the manifold and the middle section on the nearside but cant be arsed to sort it out yet!
  20. cheers Paul, thats the next job on my list (new sheet of A4...)
  21. Just chasing a Lexus IS200 Sport along a twisty road on way back from Alton Towers yestaerday - every time I hit a bump in the road or a stone the back end came out to the left by about 20 degrees - scaring the bejeezus out of me (nearly put it into a wall as well!) Last time my car was looked at (apart from my front tension rods being fooked) I was told the Hicas arms were fooked as well. Do these sound like the symptoms?
  22. decent random number generators base their 'seed' on something that changes, like the time & date. shoite ones are used in national lottery lucky dip machines. ah too late... :)
  23. sod google, thank God for the address bar!!! phew
  24. £65k from new!?!?! keep your ferraris.
  25. I can personally rate the JWT chips (esp. when partenered with jets) but as for getting them from eBay... guilty as charged! (good price tho)
