  1. I'm with Wanadoo. £25 (or £27 i cant remember) for a 1.1Mbit. very reliable.
  2. nice wheels, but shame about the car. hope the driver is ok
  3. CRIIIKKKEY!! that's take hours to spool up!!! and 1600cc injectors! (might run a little lean if he forgot to remap the ecu! :p )
  4. aaaaaaaaaaanyway BTTT weren't US models just a straight 300bhp? (and what about UK models? :D )
  5. aye, like Pub says we always like to mix a bit of banter with help & advice. Hope you get it sorted mate.
  6. when you do a search i think there's an option which says something like: include all sellers that ship to the U.K. (ie. seller is based overseas but ships to UK so that item will be included in your search). Perhaps the US eBay site has a similar option for sellers overseas to US but that will still ship there. I've just re-read that and it doesnt make any sense! :wack:
  7. boost jets are a (very) cheap 'n' easy way to up your boost (by slowing down how quickly the wastegates open) but they aren't as controllable as a, err, controller! Chris@GetGReddy may soon be flogging some nice Blitz controllers.
  8. AFAIK the ecu doesnt control boost (dont ask me how it activates safety boost tho :p ) nor does it know the current boost pressure. mods-wise you could have loads of fancy bits like intakes, zorsts, internals, etc. but your tubbies would still be running 9psi when they could be taken higher with boost jets or controller. oh and ive not even got a controller in! (yet ;) )
  9. TBH im not really that mechanically-minded but i would imagine it would involve jacking the rear of the car up for a starter. dont know how far into the suspension you'd have to go. hope someone else can help more
  10. exactly the same prob i had mate when i got my imported car. IIRC the wires that come up through the column would be hicas, horn and cruise control. which make of wheel is it?
  11. the only real danger (except getting greedy and risking too high boost levels) is that it overrides safety boost so if there was a problem with your engine which your ecu picked up, it couldnt cut the boost to 7.
  12. almost certainly rear hicas arms. i had exactly the same problem which was fixed when the arms were replaced. about £250 all in i think.
  13. its not detonation is it???
  14. hope you dont mind me butting in ;) i took a few pix when i fitted mine but my camera battery died when i got half-way through :slap: they show removal of air cleaner, rad fan and recirc. hope they help.
  15. i think the dildo's in the driver's seat
  16. one of those was up on ebay a couple of weeks ago - caused quite a bit of debate on here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=43520&highlight=intercooler+spray http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=43636&highlight=intercooler+spray

like Jock said if it hurts now you'll be as stiff as a post tomorrow!!! i used to do Body Pump regularly and that was absolute agony afterwards - cool tho as you know its your body getting leaner+meaner. not been to gym for 2 years tho :(
  21. lol - no she'll bring shame to the rest of them cos her car's faster :D :D ;)
  22. nothing really, just a slightly greater risk of detonation under the right (or rather wrong) circumstances. possibly a small drop in performance???
  23. true, unless he's got an ECU set up for UK fuel. optimax definately the safest bet if unsure tho.
  24. err.... je m'apelle Daveede
