im another guy who upgraded from a JWT to a John Dixon. i noticed a much smoother ride (especially in idle) more than power increase but deffo an improvement.

yep theyve blended the bumper into the wings. what an amazing job - ive run my fingers along and cant feel any join whatsoever :eek: bumper does look a little exaggerated but nothing like the Veilside one im glad to say :eek: just managed to attach reg plate by threading copper wires through meshing at front. will have to make sure i dont cane the engine tho as the rad's a little blocked until i can decide where to put it permanently.

yes mate, to measure power at the fly you'd probably have to remove clutch onwards and hook up the flywheel itself to the dynamometer. to calc (or rather guess) bhp@fly they take the bhp@wheels and then increase by a certain %. usually 10-15% for manual, 20-25% for autos.

they don't know yet - about 8pm he reckons but its one of those cruises where you dont know till the last minute. he's handing out leaflets about his bodyshop and showing off me Z as an example :hyper: :D

i had a very similar problem mate when i first got my z. turned out i had a nasty oil leak, a nasty boost leak, and the car was running in safety boost. once sorted it goes like stink. do a search for ecu error codes and do a test. also check to make sure all the plumbing is done up nice and tight.

i think most of their comments were completely wrong - the usual b0ll0x just for the sake of it. although not to my personal taste it definately looks good and has had some amazing work done to it. Surprised the Bandit didnt get flamed for sticking up for it.
