engine bay photograph - wheres the ABS gear? isnt it usually front offside or is it relocated on a later model? seems a bit bare there! :confused:

yes you can tell the difference between safety and full boost - more so if youre used to the full 9 or 9.5psi or whatever it is then suddenly find youre only running 7. to fix safety boost, get the error code(s) and fix the problem :D Xav if you want to be able to switch boost levels, try a boost controller, then you can dial in whatever you want :D

sorry to hear that John :( i think your problem is you dont pray to the Z god enough. this involves being on your hands and knees, looking under your car and servicing it and getting oil everywhere.

is your line filter installed Dave? (start with the obvious things first!)

simple way of telling whether your tubbies are working or not is that you should be achieving 9.5psi boost when you floor it. will be limited to 7psi when running cold or if the ecu detects a problem so let it warm up first.

screeching belt noise is very common with all cars when the weather's cold. the more load you put on the engine (eg. high idling when engine cold or using aircon) the more the squeal. should disappear within 60 seconds tho

recently noticed an annoying 'loose bit of plastic rattling' sound coming from somewhere behind the centre vents. windscreen demister works fine but when i press AUTO to blow air into the cabin, i can hear it blowing but no air comes out the vents. has an air director thingy come loose? i could just undo the screws but id have to pull up and reseat my apexi thingamijigs!

:rofl: :rofl: i was on the cycle path along asquith way towards Oadby when my wheels started following the icy trails of other cyclists before the frost the previous night. unfortunately my front wheel followed one trail, and my back wheel followed another... still laugh at it now. the only person who saw it was an oncoming jogger.

lol, apart from falling off my bike yesterday on the way to work :rofl: i remember when i was a young'un and i got a dartboard for Christmas. was standing there playing darts without any shoes/slippers on, threw a dart, it bounced off a wire and landed right in my big toe. yowch!

i think nad's right it is the Carcept bumper, allegedly manufactured in place of the Wings West since they changed management (or something like that). copies have been floating around ebay.
