Well she's gone in this morning. It was a horrible feeling taking her in - felt like I was selling her, but I hope she's in safe hands - the lads there all seem to be enthusiastic about working on it. They say they'll take photos throughout the work so I'll try and get them posted up. And thank fook they said the bumper and nose panel both seemed ok. I hope they sort it.

Quake 4 was released a fortnight ago. Great game and deffo pushes your system to its limits, but for those of you who played Doom 3 - this is the same only marginally better. :smw:

im sure there are other possible causes mate, and although youve replaced the whole ecu unit, its worth checking that the eprom is in the right way around (just a stab in the dark as if its the wrong way around it can knacker your engine). open up the gold box, locate the eprom on the board, the semi-circular indent at the edge of the chip should be facing the centre of the board and not the edge.

i have one of these (a genuine one... at least i hope so :eek: ) and it seems that the one in the ad is a lot thinner at the top of the wheel than mine - not-brilliant piccie is in my rides somewhere.

werent the non-turbo models called the BNR34 or EGR34 or something? they used to float around ebay and probably still do, body-kitted up a bit, but not the true GTR34 that the buyer was after.
