  1. PM received and counter-sent ;)
  2. ive not driven in Germany but the roads in Baden Baden up to the Black Forest and back down were rather cool and twisty (and covered in snow when everywhere else was dry!)
  3. wow that's amazing to watch. little tyke lives as well.
  4. this is terrible news - and not even to know why he has been taken back in i think thats a bit out of order :( good luck to him and i hope he is out soon
  5. congratulations mate - good luck to the three of you :duffer:
  6. well, that's what I call it anyway ;)
  7. not sure about the 3 second 0-60 though! lol
  8. damn thats amazing!!! imagine the applications for that... porn-in-your-pocket
  9. Have a great birthday mate :duffer:
  10. IIRC it belonged to a friend of an ex-member on here. it had a Viper front bumper too - pretty rare. EDIT - after seeing those pics I was wrong about the bumper (the TG episode was in the dark so I couldnt make it out  )
  11. so its true then  i spoke to him briefly on three occasions about parts from his car and he sounded like a great guy. Rest in peace Jay
  12. please tell me i read that wrong and this isnt some sort of joke. i spoke to him last week on the phone. this is JayPSC as in the guy breaking his car and posted up with a picture of him and his girlfriend less than a week ago? Jesus I hope not.
  13. ok going on your experience let's knock it back awhile, so leave 15a at 7:30 to get there about 7:45. :hurl:
  14. :D changes made thanks Joely ...blimey its a complicated junction - just been looking at it with Google Earth but at least its good for people from both north and south
  15. i think it'll be the northbound services (the ones on the south side of the M1). people heading south can get off at 15a then head under the M1. this is the route we'd be taking anyway as thats where the A43 southbound is.
  16. Anyone else up for a bit of a convoy? As far as I understand it they want us there for 9:40 at the latest so we can display our cars when they open the gates to the public, but the more experienced members say get there before 8am to avoid queues (plus some of you have track time which has briefings earlier than the parade time). how about we meet up at Northampton Services at M1 J15a (northbound, so southern side of M1) and then make our way down the A43 Blisworth Bypass to Silverstone. should be about 20 min drive but leave there at 7:30 to try and avoid a queue?
  17. Sarah for P.M. :nana2:
  18. same problem here too, although ive noticed of the three pumps at my local Shell, each one requires a different angle of entry :p each time it cuts i adjust by 15 degrees and try again until it behaves itself. ...and no matter how much i shake the nozzle after filling up, i still get drops of petrol on my shoes, the floor, etc.
  19. all good advice there lol. i remember a cracking one from years ago which detailed which urinal youre allowed to go to depending on where other guys were standing.
  20. what about Bangkok? and theres a road in Leicester called "Raw Dykes Road"
  21. i'll add my opinion if i may to the broad range of views already expressed. what you did was right, and as someone would say to me, "another brick on your castle in heaven". you looked out for your family whatever the circumstances and that was a good thing to do. it sounds like youve been used by both of them. it sounds like as soon as he heard your sister was up the duff he bottled it and wanted out. your sister came to you for support and money, but didnt make it clear what had happened (ie. had they really split up?). its easy to say talk to her about it and sort it out but sometimes thats a tough thing to do. you may have been taken for a ride once, but make it clear it aint gonna happen again - you gave her £xxxx in support when it should have been the boyfriend. all IMO of course :)
  22. got my pack yesterday thanks Steve!
  23. i miss school life - well, having a crush on the science teacher (and the French teacher, and the design teacher...)
