Wow I can think of a million different things i can do with a slim line tv like that.

damn that looks awesome, i wonder what power consumption on those are like? maybe we'll have laptops with 8 hour continuous use battery life with tech like this.

Diddy, we've (I say we, but I've got an ancient one that dies in 10mins) got some IBMs that last 8hrs on battery. I doubt it would be the same if you were playing DVDs or whatever but they're impressive.

which series? I remember the thinkpad 600 series had long battery life!

Are these out in the shops? Im sure i saw one in some jap guys skyline, he had sumthing like that stuck on his back window only about 4"x2", had a music video playing.

Or you could have a James Bond style number plate that showed something different whenever you went through a speed trap. The other thing you could do is make it so your plate would only be readable from certain angles by aligning the crystals correctly when a current is passed through them. Anyone directly behind you or to the side could read it but to speed cameras it could be made invisible because they always shooting from slightly above.
