  1. Parked up behind the fujitsu building. Looked very tidy
  2. Couldn't recommend them. Have posted previously bout them. Waited months for repair and it failed TWICE. Got it done properly locally in the end. Customer service diabolical, hardly ever answered phone and rarely replied to emails. Eventually offered me £10 for postage back. hmmmm Good luck if you do use them nick
  3. Glad you like them mate. Nice to meet you properly. cheers
  4. Yep good for you. If we were all the same we'd all be driving standard unmodified cars. Good luck nick
  5. Did mine on both sides earlier in the year. Fairly straight forward as previously mentioned. Splitting ball joint easy. One side of mine had seized nut on track rod. Eventually had to heat it. If you have to do the same do it very gently as too much heat will crack the track rod. Mark position of track rod or count number of turns as you undo it. (or both) Genuine gator dead easy to fit. comes with new twist wire. HTH nick
  6. Thanks for the advice. Your retrim looks great (apart from that stering wheel :p). Tried retrimmimg mine and made a right mess of it, well the doors anyway. gonna order kit again and get it done properly.
  7. Good Job, Look smart:bow:

  11. Hi folks, Am finally getting aroung to upgrading speakers. Looking at component ones. I am starting with front doors first. I know i'll have no major problems with 13cm ones but can i fit 16.5cm in. Has anyone done so and if yes was it fairly easy. Many Thanks Nick
  12. I've got everything through the router. Netgear DG834GT 2 laptops and one pc connected wireless. x-box plugged into back of router (doesn't matter which one of the 4 connections). Wii connected wireless. oh and iphone and PSP as well :D All works fine although x-box live was a PITA to set up. found it easiest to assign manual ip addresses to everything and set up port-fowarding for the xbox. Used http://portforward.com/ for guidance. HTH nick
  13. Might be worth contacting them and asking if they can make you one up. I ordered a new leather centre console cover from them. When it arrived it didn't match my old one. Got in touch and they were very helpful. Took the old one round (they live very near to me), and they are making a new one to match my template. HTH nick
  14. I'm so bad.:rofl::rofl: Seriously though she doesn't look too healthy.
  15. Yep, that's them. Joke was if i'd gone to my local place first it would have been cheaper and easier to chase up. Have learnt yet another hard lesson nick
  16. Thought i'd share with you my recent experience. When I got my Zed about 4 1/2 years ago it had a really nice (well i liked them) set of 3 piece 17" alloys in black with polished rims. Only problem was front nearside was buckled from a kerbing. After a few weeks the tyre started losing air and on inspection found that the inner rim was cracked. I quickly replaced wheels with a set of Fox Evo's and stored the old ones. Last November saw an advert for a wheel repair place in Scotland that could repair even severely damaged rims. So sent photos, got a quote and sent wheel off. Probably the easiest way to tell the rest is to copy the email that I have just sent them - 'Just thought I’d update you on my alloy wheel that you returned to me last week after ‘re-repairing’ it. When I took the wheel to my local tyre centre to have a tyre fitted we found that air was leaking from the ‘repaired’ section of the rim. So just to recap. I sent the wheel to you in Mid November 2007. I paid £197.50 pounds for the repair (plus postage). This repair lasted approx 3 weeks (about 20 miles of driving). I returned the wheel for re-repair at the end of January. (Delay caused by you not responding to emails). You took over 2 months to return the wheel to me, despite my weekly phone calls for the last 3 weeks and your constant promise to send it within a few days! When you finally returned the wheel, with a hand scrawled note saying that you could not warranty the repair, it had not been repaired properly and leaked air from the weld. I must state that your customer service throughout this time has been extremely poor. Your website claims to be able to repair even the most severely damaged wheels. My cracked inner rim can hardly be described as such. I have searched your site and cannot find anywhere a statement saying that repairs may not work and cannot be guaranteed. If you had told me from the outset that the repair may only last for a few weeks I obviously would not have sent it for repair. I would ask for a full or even a partial refund but no doubt you will not respond to this mail. Oh and just as a footnote my local tyre place was able to re-weld the repair properly (another £50, well spent this time). I would have thought that customer service and reputation for a small family business was extremely important. This clearly doesn’t appear to be the case. I won’t be recommending you to anyone including members on my car club website. Nick Costa' Anyway maybe i'm just unlucky but am feeling well fed up. Not just the money but the time this has taken. Probably even worse was the fact that i had sold the Fox alloys and was just about to send them when the initial repair failed. I had to withdraw from the sale and let down the buyer.(member on here:(, really sorry again Rob) I certainally would not use this place ever again and would not recommend them. Nick Oh and if i have posted this in the wrong place or should not have posted it at all, very sorry, feel free to move it, delete it or just put me out of my misery and shoot me.
  17. Hi folks, This is a real long shot but the hose from the hicas to the power steering pump has just split. peeing fluid everywhere, car not driveable. 19. Hi folks, Am replacing tired shocks with kyb's. Fronts are done ok. (eventually after seized piston nuts) Am having real trouble in removing bottom nut on rear shock. There doesn't seem enough room to get socket & ratchet on. Can't get enough grip with a ring spanner. Has anyone got around this problem. i've looked at various write ups without success. Have had enough for today and am going to try again next weekend. Any advice greatly appreciated cheers nick
  20. Makes me laugh, i drove from surrey to swz and then back last week without seeing one. (except the ones at swz). Went out this morning and there's a black one parked in the next road and we live in a fairly quiet cul-de-sac
