mot question, probably for PaulC
Reverse lights usually dont get checked during an MOT but it is down to the tester.

What do you think of these alloys?
They look like Veilside Bacarrattes a little bit. The Veilside are the wheels on the Nemesis 350z too.

Some interesting information.
Cosworth are supposed to be doing some work on developing the new 2007 Skyline engine in the UK which has been rumoured to be based on the 350Z engine which is a V6 as you all know, also the car is MEANT to be built in Japan. You never know.

Had an inncident on saturday :(
Hey guys, I was on my way to Southport in my Fiat Bravo on saturday to see some mates and was going accross the Hightown bends (Anyone round this area will know that they are really slippy when wet) and they got the better of me. The rain was pissing it down and i was proceding with caution, only doing 25 around a right hand corner when my front wheels hit a pile of mud in the road which i didnt see, anyway they started spinning but unfortunatly the car carried on going forward. I managed to force the steering to full right lock and put my foot down to try and pull the front of the car to the right to avoid the big fooking ditch infront of me! Luckery the car just bounced off the curb and came to a stand still in the road. I got out and went to inspect the damage and my wheel was at a very different angle to the other 1. The top of the wheel is leaning out firther than the bottom and the back of the wheel is further in the arch so the nearside front wheel is always pointing to the left. Anyway i put the space saver on and drove home soaking wet and my heart in my mouth thinking if i had just slammed on the brakes i would have probably skidded straight over the curb into the ditch with a barb wire fence over it! Just wandering what is more than likely to be fooked on the car, i know i need a new wheel but nothing LOOKS to be bent around the strut and the driveshafts etc. Its getting looked at tomorow anyway and im hoping il just need a new strut and the tracking realigned. But a warning to all those, take it easy on the hightown bends. Regards a very shaken up Dan.

GTROC and "Deliverance". Spot the difference.
To be completely honest, normal Z lights but clear suit the Zed best IMHO ofcourse.

How Much Insurance
Having driven both a Clio and a Corsa i would say the clio, but it will break down more often and you will look like a :xxx: in it! So corsa. Or go against the grain and get a 1.6 Astra coupe? Drove a 2 litre one today and i was impressed.

How Much Insurance
As i said PC Boss, no way will you get insurance on anything like a Zed, MR2, 200sx, v6 calibra etc etc. Like someone sed the 100nx`s go pretty well. Try and get a later model as the early ones are on carbs and are slower than the injection ones. Once lowered they handle pretty well and are really reliable. 1.6 aint too bad, iv got 1 but due to company policy i get to drive alot of cars, fastest being a Jag XK8 and that thing flies. I WOULD crash it if i were to use it everyday. And you`l still pay around 2k insurance cos insurance companys are TWATS!!!!!

How Much Insurance
IF you find a quote for less than 2K on the Mr2 please let me know as you will be 1 VERY LUCKY bunny! I was looking at quotes for a 1.3 1998 Micra and was getting quotes of 2K fully comp. Dan.

How long for a respray???
A job like that should not take more than 2 weeks! BUT they cant concentrate on yours all at once and will have to fit others in. Id still question them though.

How Much Insurance
I was seriously tempted to go for a little MG midget (i think im right in sayin their RWD). But it was only a 2 seater and i fancied somehing more modern and probably more reliable. Dont get me wrong id love to have a Zed at 17 but i know for damm sure i would crash it. My family are a bunch of petrol heads and in my opinion they are good drivers and would know what to do id they lost the backend or something similar, i would like to say i am also a good driver but at 17 i have got ALOT more to learn and experiance before i can ever say that, even though i am a much better driver than most if not all of my friends. Start with something smaller, give it a year, maybe 2 and then get a Zed, by then the insurance will be alot less (if you have no claims) and you will be alot more experianced, also how many 18 or 19 year olds do you know with cars such as a Zed? Just my 2pennies worth.
