Trust me mate, im in your situation, passed my test in April and having a Zed is just plain wrong. For a 1st car you WILL crash it unless you drive like a grandma! Also IF an insurance company will touch you for a Zed (Or an MR2 or a 200 etc) you will be looking at 5k easily. I was phoning round and for a Skyline at 17 for a 1st car it was 22K!!! f+t.

I did not know that there was a conZult available which is different to the consult. Sorry. :p Il rephraise to say that the new "official" dealer consult coming out soon is supposed to be improved again in the form of a laptop. (So a guy at work was saying cos he`s going on the course in October i think.) Thats why i was saying it might be worth waiting for 1. Apologies :slap:

Also theres a new form on conzult coming out next year in January i think (could be before). Its basically a laptop with the conZult software on, and aparently can do alot more than the existing one. I dont know how much itl cost but it could be worth waiting 6 months for one?

ConZults rnt too hard to work, understanding what the bloody thing tells you and figuring out what it actually is is harder, you get use to it though. Have to use 1 every day at work.

I would have thought that a 300hp Cossie and an Evo would have you easily upto about 80mph then you would have come back from a standing start. Or is it a rolling start your doing on your private closed motorway?

True, but also there are quite a few good smilie posts with people loving their Zeds. But what do you expect from a car which ages back to 1989 is it? What 10 year old car will not have reliability issues? This has been discussed in the past and it was sed that a few more Zed praising posts could be written and there are. Atleast new potential owners will know what to look for when purchasing 1 of these beautiful cars :hyper:

Its a no go on using this place guys. Theres a barrier at the beginning and they dont want people parking on the grassy area aparently.

I slave away working on cars at a Nissan dealership all day, then back to college in september.
