Hey guys Just wandering if people could help me out? Iv been trying all the online insurance quotes to see how much a TT Zed would be at around 19. Im 17 atm and hopefully (touch wood) il have 2 years no claims by the time im 19. Just wandering what you you guys pay for insurance on your babys? Bearing in mind this would be my daily driver. Am i looking around 2k or is that a very optimistic figure? Cheers Dan.

hehe, Im on about the next meet at the Royal Oak on East Lanks. Since i dont own a Zed im just happy going to the local Zed meets from this club. Id be a bit embarassed turning up to a jap car meet in an italian car!

Thats the thing, iv always loved bikes but after hearing all the stories and seeing the results of people in cars "not seeing" the biker it has put me right off. I mean iv only been driving around two weeks now so im sure iv got loads more to come yet. But just cruising down some roads happily at 30, checking in the mirror to see a car behind you, then the next thing think you know a bike flies right past you at 70 or 80. Its worrying to be honest cos 1 minute their not there then the next second they are.

Ditto my grandad, nan, dad and two uncles have all had bikes at one stage. 1 of my uncles ended up under the front of a car and broke his leg in 3 places, the other 1 had an incident with a lorry a few weeks back, my grandad and nan both came off resulting in broken knee caps and ancles all round. All due to idiots who dont look out for bikes. If the biker is being an idiot like the crash today, it looks like he overtook a car without looking and just went straight into the front of the mondeo and then straight into the windscreen. Im not saying id wish it upon anyone but he must have been doing atleast 50 in a 30, not looking and bam. Its truly awfull as there was blood on the windscreen and road. Hopefully he will pull through but i hate to say if im right in thinking thats what has happened then it was his own fault.

Just walked down to the end of my road and a motorbike has gone straight into the front of a mondeo, he must have been doin atleast 50mph. I didnt see it but :eek: the state of both vehicles. I know crashes happen all the time and iv been in 1 myself but when it happens at the very end of your road it makes you think it could have been me. The biker didnt look too good just lying there on the pavement with 1 of his boots 50 yards down the road :( . Im sure itl be in the crosby herald tomorow but my sympathies go out for all involved. It looks like it was the bikers fault but my god i would wish it on anybody. Just made me think and to al you bikers out there, beware. dan.

Think they can take 300RMS each. Iv got another amp waiting to go in which is 150RMS. So they will each be getting that soon. They may be under powered but it sounds alrite.

Well when i spoke to the fella he sed he imported it about 9 months ago. Looked standard apart from aftermarket alloys which had a black line round the dish. Was an auto. Could have been the same one cos he had a lady and a kid in the car im presuming his wife and child.
