  3. there is a guy selling a z32 maf over here, i want to buy it as i think mine might be a bit iffy, but how do i know his one is ok, anything to look out for, its a good price, i think £60, any help appreciated

    hi richard and welcome to the site, if you are a new z owner the best 20 pounds you will ever spend is becoming a member on here for help advice access to parts etc we only recently got the irl region on here and its great to to make contact with other owners, the nearest active member to you is chewie in waterford, hope you will be able to join us for a meet or 2 in the near future trish
  7. i used to use autoglym, then i got a pressie of a halfords voucher so bought meguiers gold class polish and shampoo, expensive but excellent

  9. i know dave mines for renewal this month as well, but i only ever do it 3 months at a time because with these cars you never know if it could be off the road for periods during the year
  10. we had the budget over here today and they hit the motorist big time, on a 3 ltr car the road tax is gone up 11% to 1231euro per year (thats 887 pounds) while we can import anything from anywhere as regards cars there is a vrt (vechicle registration tax) they have now added 4 more catagories based on emmissions all aimed at they bigger cc cars, we are being penalised because of all the suv owners :rant: :rant:

  12. i have already tried under faq and search, and cant find definitive ans following a discussion on a forum over here, about tt engines (not zs) and when the turbos kick in, most seem to be saying 1st turbo 2-3000rmp and second turbo at about 5000rpms, i thought on the z they both kick in together, can anyone put me straight please

  16. just about getting my head back together that had to be one of the best 24 hours iv had in a while(i know sad life) athene lovely meeting you you have a great crew there in sc matt thanks for driving me around, i felt right at home in your lovely red z gaz thanks for the map, im just about old enough to remember irl that way, and make sure caz wears her apron on christmas day chris lovely car, and good luck with the move and to madmarco, scotty, gezzermelda, paul, graham, moby, ian thanks so much for coming along it was such a treat to see all the cars driving in the new forest, and to have a mix of swb and a convertible as well and much respect to all your partners (especially ned @7months pregnant) for coming along and standing around in the cold and wet while we indulged our hobby chewie it was only 24 hours i dont know if i could babysit you for any longer :rofl: thanks for your company on the trip
  17. just home about 30 mins, flight was delayed slightly, but poor chewie had a 2 hour drive from dublin home what can i say but THANK YOU ALL for coming out and making it such a memorable week end for us will talk tomorrow

  23. :hyper: can you imagine what other customers will think if they hear our intros, "hello hellraiser" "you must be nutter" "tulip and chewie i presume" 300zxgirl and mattymoo etc they will prob think we are some covert undercover spooks @athene cause its a female thingy what kind of dress code, casual like jeans, semi casual like jeans but a nice top, or more dressy up, its actually chewie wants to know this :rofl: :rofl:
