Re-arranged annual summer event
good to know murphys law is alive and well, after all my asking for the new date guess what, same date at we have jap-fest in mondello dublin, with some track time if you choose, also on the same date straightliners at enniskillen probabley the only decent drag strip on the island and the last event was 2 years ago, it was bad enough having to choose between these 2 home events and now the annual event the same date which i was really committed to going to this year. i have been watching this thread for the last week and being honest the lack of interest in this event, and the amount of other regional meets that have been cancelled has me a bit scared to committing to attending in case its cancelled as well, so im going to take another week or so to decide and am really hoping to see the list grow

Youth of today....
what is it though about skylines, over here i get fed up of listening to people say the skyline was nissans first real supercar, that it was nisssans car of the 90s, etc even some skyline owners consider the z32 a bit of a dinasor, and 2nd class car to theirs when i go to a meet people will always rave over the skylines and supras and ignore the poor z. i do quite like the r32gtr

Billing isnt shut
on this whole subject firstly can i thank a couple of people on here for their kind offers SMITHY, for offering to collect me from airport and bring me to billing also to bring me some parts  , COOPER SWB for a similar offer after the event was cancelled to bring me to the bike show  , its those type of people that make this club a wonderful place. thumbs up to STEVE300zx for keeping calm over what i am sure has been a difficult few days, admitting a mis-comunication, and answering querys and to VINIBOY for saying what a lot of us were thinking and taking the flak for doing so. while i did consider goin over this weekend any way there is not much point as it would not be the annual event and would cost more money (of course no refund on the flight ryanair b.....) also jae is not an option, which brings my next question approx when will we know the new date to see if myself and chewie can make it, i have just been checking ferry prices and at the moment aug is about 330euro, sept 230 but as time goes on they will increase
