another *garage man* z story
i heard there was 2 z32s in a garage near me for sale, just for curiosity i went to have a look, i was driving a charade, i was looking around one of the cars when mr car salesman comes over, conversation as follows me: how much are looking for this car him for yourself me no, a friend, can you tell me about it him 1993, japspec, manual, tt me looking around car, which is locked, are you sure its a tt as there is no boost gauge in the clocks him we dont modify cars here, you can fit a boost gauge if you want one me but a psi gauge came as standard on the turbo car him listen dont tell me anything about these cars ive had 4 tt and none of them had a boost gauge, have you seen one before me yes i have one and it has a gauge him must have benn fitted aftermarket, is it long in from japan me its wasnt from japan its a uk one him ohhh that explains it yours its not a real Fairlady but the cheaper 300zx, this is one of the RARE jap GENUIENE FAIRLADYS see it says it on the boot, no comparision and its even rarer with a targa roof me ok, can you get the keys so i can have a look inside and at the engine him dont know where they are, and dont think im selling it anyway theres a whine in the gearbox, me thanks it was advertised at 10,950 euro, black original wheels and exhaust, cloth interior paintwork not great, the other was a black na auto 8,950 euro

300zx.co.uk-fest
just another thought, if Billing was the chosen venue, what about having it on week-end that there is a RWYB at santa pod , as members who would like a little track action could be accomodated as well, say on the sat, Billing fo Santa Pod 13 miles

Lapsed subscription car sales.
i voted yes, im sure badger when he put up his link to e-bay thought he was doing the community on here a favour by notifying us of a z for sale at a good price. what was the original idea behind the rule that only subscribed members could sell on here? i think in some ways we are limiting our access to maybe some nice cars that may come for sale outside the club, as regards paying some people dont like the idea of joing a club, yet would pay more for say an add in a paper at the end of the day subscribed seller or not its down to the buyer what they choose to pay, and as with anything buyer beware,

Am I being nasty ?
suppose it depends on the circumstances, but i personally would not ask my child to leave home just because they are a certain age, having five adult children, the first left home at 19 because she was in collage 200 miles away she then bought her own house, second left at 24 when he bought a house and got married, third is now 24 lives at home (he owns a house which he has rented out), fourth left home last year at 22 and is renting but wants to move back for a while to get a deposit to buy, no problem with me, and fifth is in collage and lives at home, i never took any money from them towards bills, they are all hardworking and good people, i love my children and enjoy their company and from experience they will move on in their own time, not having a partner i will be alone long enough and dont look forward to it
