  1. That should be interesting!
  2. Fair play, the Government's looking after us again just like Nanny. I bet most of the technology will be used to measure point-to-point speeds which probably the reason why Brunstrom isn't supporting new speed cameras. :xxx: http://www.commondreams.org/headlines05/1222-04.htm
  3. My Zed's off the road atm but Shaunmac will probably be up for this one. Didn't realise there were any more Z owners in Bangor!
  4. I doubt even an Audi S8 would keep up with a mildly tuned Z, they're 360 bhp but they're also very big and heavy. Chipping them only produces a few more bhp too. I nearly bought one 3 years ago but thought at 4.2 litres it would be too thirsty and had virtually no scope for tuning - LOL. The RS-6 will kick ass though!

I would really like to fook this guy up big time. I hate people like this and would happily do time to remove them from society.
  6. Did 120+ in my old Cavalier SRi most of the way from the M40 to where the M6 meets the M56 in Cheshire not so long ago, never heard anything since and I went via the M6 toll rd. Have also been to Carlisle via the M6 without any hassle Once you've passed Lancaster you're more likely to get pulled over because mobile cameras aren't often in use on the northern part of the M6. The only place where I've seen SPECS cameras was on the Thelwall viaduct during roadworks on the M6 some time back.
  7. I remember wondering if there were 2 zeds but I'm sure the other car was something else IIRC!
  8. Some of their music's OK but the title "One way ticket to hell - and back" sounds about as original as their guitar work and vocals. Mind you there's no band as annoying as fookin Westlife  When will those tw@ts give it up so I don't have to put up with the Missus playing it whenever she gives me a lift
  9. When was the last one made? 1983 ish?
  10. Been using it on Macs & PCs for a long time now, could never go back to the non-removable IE. Just waiting to see how long it'll be before it gets exploited like IE did. :xxx:s
  11. Haven't crashed mine yet but had a couple of worrying moments. My engine has been through a wall though when the engine hoist went over. Even I had to laugh at the time but not as much as the neighbours when they saw the V6 sat in the road!
  12. Not that this helps much but there's no 300Z in the list :( http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/list+of+supercars http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/Supercar
  13. Truly devastating news, I really feel for his family and the other families mentioned on here. Go easy out there lads.
  14. She's probably just a cock-hopper. I'd kick her into touch because there's nothing to be gained by sticking around long-term.
  15. It's the last thing you all needed I'm sure but keep your chin up mate, I'm sure he'll make a speedy recovery.
  16. Had an Apple 32" TFT yesterday in for repair. A local repair company told me "It's cheaper to buy a new one it than to get a new backlight for it". FFS it's only 2 years old. Eventually fixed it by resoldering one of the wires back onto one of the 1.5mm thick fluorescent tubes but it was well hidden by glue and rubber etc. They paid £2K for it in 2003 and it was a loose wire FFS  Should have written it off and taken it home :D
  17. I never had this I/O error in Windows XP until today but that was caused by a bad floppy disk. If you right-click My Computer, choose "manage" then click on "Disk management", you should get something like this if it's working :- Might be worth running a recovery utility on it. PC file recovery has worked well for me:- http://download.pcinspector.de/pci_us_smartrecovery.exe Hope you get it sorted. Dave
  18. When I lived in Preston I remember my next door neighbour telling me "Do you know what the coont bought me for Christmas? - a fookin bog brush!". I really struggled to keep a straight face and tried to be sympathetic but I really wanted to p1ss myself at his audacity.
  19. It depends where you are. If you're pulled by North Wales Police, expect to be rammed for the full amount. It's a £30 statutory fine with no points but in most areas they'll give you a warning. Dave
  20. When I was first looking for a 300ZX I went to Dublin. I looked at a few along with some Skylines but preferred the look of the 300. Glad to see you've got taste too ;)
  21. I'm sure Anglesey circuit charge less. It's where 5th gear test all their cars. http://www.angleseycircuit.com/cartrackdays.htm May be worth a go.
  22. The NOS wet kit introduces yet more fuel besides the 850cc injectors and NOS will drastically reduce intake temp so I see no reason why this setup couldn't produce this kind of power at the fly and still be reliable. I spoke with Trevor at Wizards of NOS for some time about NOS setups and learnt a lot. Decided against it in the end because a mate of mine emptied his bottle after a few days and at £40 a refill, I decided it was too expensive and a pain in the ass keep refilling the bottle!
  23. Bet he did 70 tops in Britain(Nanny Nation) :D
  24. Guess what? Just been pulled over by ............ NORTH WALES POLICE surprise surprise. Just asked me if I'd been drinking though and didn't check over the car. It was the same guy that chased me in the Z once but couldn't prove my speed - LOL. Shame he didn't notice my bald tyres - must get them done now. They're really on a mission round here so don't be tempted to visit this God-forsaken place over Christmas FFS!
  25. NORTH WALES POLICE = :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: One day I'll remove my plates and take the p1ss in front of them down the A55. That'll wipe the smile off the clever tw@ts' faces
