If its cold, you will naturaly produce more condense/smoke. I got my Zed in the summer and nothing, then a little frost came and in the morning i looked like somthing out of James Bond. I agree with what Chris and Gaz has said. Got to be the prop bearing. Take it back. There might even be a few prop bolts loose. You never know?

That will teach me not to read the fookin thread right LOL :nelson: :headvswal . You will need a pressure tester. All it is ,is a pump that fits onto your rad cap then you pump it until it reaches the working pressure. Leave it for 10 mins and see if the pressure drops or if a leak appears.

As everyone else has said the only thing you can do is look for the leak then if none are visable from normal tickover, let it cool down and pressure test it. It depends on how much pressure the engine was under at the time of it leaking. I also noticed that you said you had been to the fridge to get water. Bud, don't do that because putting cold water into a hot engine can cause major damage such as a crack in the case. Good luck bud. Hope its not to bad and just a burst hose. Where was the steam coming from??

As i said it was from another thread. This is what was wrote: I had em replaced....IIRC there is a built-in (design) feature which allowed a certain amount of slack so the belt didnt get uncomfortable by snagging on your clothes etc... its electronically controlled...pop off the door card and there is a small connector which runs from the seat-belt unit...it controls the slackness if you unclip it i think the belt then operates as a normal retracting belt....shoot me down if i'm wrong someone... I havent looked myself so 'sorry but true.'

The advice of earthing was only mentioned in the oil pressure guage inst. I am putting my other earths within the car but was just wondering about the oil pressure earth and wheres the best place. Not to sure of its effect on reading yet. ;)
