There was a thread not so long back about this problem. Somone surgested that there is an electrical connection on the reel itself and if you disconnect it then it seemed to recoil back quicker. Not done it myself so not sure if its true. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!! LOL

Right then, got my Tripple A pillar today and i have inserted the guages. They are all electric. There is the purple wire for the dimming so i ve shared that. No problem!. Theres the live 12v red wire. Ive shared that no problem! but the problem has come to light with the earth. The oil guage recommends that i earth as near to the sender as possible to get an accurate reading. So where can this be or does everyone just share the earthing?? My other questions are 1, How the fook do you get through the fire wall because i dont want to have to send the wires and turbo pipe all the way across to the ecu opening? 2, Is it recommended to wire up the new guages to the old guage connections behind the dash because is it the manufactures guages that are inacurate or the senders? :headvswal :bow: :bow: I know you know!!!
