  1. Many say 10%. That is obviously too low?
  2. Hi; There are many assumtions about the difference between flywheel and rear wheels. 10%? 15%? What do you think?
  3. My OEM rod bearings just broke down. Engine out,- once again. I guess there is a lot of knowledge on the forum what type of bearings that are the best. Someone out there with names on the best bearing experts ?
  4. Hi Legrath; Thanks for the info about bearings you have shared. Have you any experience or knowledge with ACL rod bearings? How are these compared to OEM bearings? Can I take out 900 flywheel horses with ACL bearings? My engine with brand new OEM bearings just broke down on 800 BHP. Engine out once again, so this time I need the very best bearings. Have you any good advice?:hyper:
  5. Someone who has heard anything from MAC lately?
  6. Hi Mac; Do you use original conrod bearings? If not, what type do you use? :hyper:
  7. Hi buddy; Yeah, it is a very good idea. Bringing also CV 1515 would make 3 of us. We could take the ferry from Esbjerg in Denmark. A nice trip. Do you know which arrangement in UK that could be the best for us? :slap:
  8. It is still unclear who has the most powerful ZX in the UK. Someone with clear answers?
  9. Not full engine from Kyle, heads only. Package was missing for 4 weeks, DHL was pretty stressed, the insurance was $7000. Heads are stage 4, ported, larger valves and larger cams. 750 BHP max capasity on each side. The engine works much easier now. So heads are no longer any bottleneck. Also larger turbos, Turbonetics 530 BHP. Backpressure is eliminated on high PSI (max 30 PSI) by porting. I found a company who have specialized in porting turbos!! This turned out to be very important, airflow and exhaust flow are not optimal in an original turbo. But now it runs like hell, straight up to 8700 RPM. A wonderful feeling I can tell you. Mortages are also nearly tearing me apart. I hope things can normalize soon, trouble has been going on for nearly 2 years now. UK sees to be in really deep shit ?? Best regards Me
  10. Right, thanks. Divide by 1,35 from Nm.
  11. I did not know there was a full membership option. Thanks. I gladly pay and support the forum. How can I do this?:smash:
  12. Hi Mike, long time.......... I have finally completed my car after 4 years. The trip to UK and Peter Rosenberg was a big mistake. He failed in everything he tried to and I had to start from scratch again. Expensive engine? You bet, probably £40.000 has been spent, and that is engine only, in spite of not so expensive parts from US. The point is that there are som many parts you need. Cost for work is not that much. Last year I had 720 BHP and torque 850 Nm (= 650 as you measure it, pounds per square inch??) The last 12 months I have taken a new and final step rising it to 850 BHP, torque 1000 Nm. Stage 4 heads, larger and ported exhaust in the turbos provided 130 BHP more. The engine now runs perfect. 0-200 km (125 miles) takes only 10 seconds! That is similar to the Coenigsegg performance! Quartemile I don`t know yet. So finally I can use the car now, the joy will overshadow the time and money consumption, at least I hope so. :hyper: Have you any new project in progress?
  13. It seems clear that there is no public list for UK 300ZX with regard to power, quartermile etc. With som many ZX-enthusiasts on the forum, this should be established and given access to for all of us. We are all interested in this. Who feel strongly for taking responsibility on this?:slap:
  14. Hi; You shold make sure that the quartermile, BHP etc were made public on the ZX-forum. Why don`t you post this separately, many will be very interested in this... Best regards Jorgen
  15. Where can I find the dyno section? :hyper:
  16. Is it still The Beast for East, or has someone else taken over? Any pictures and specifications would be great.
  17. It seems that Peter Rosenberg is not the right man to modify my 300ZX engine. Someone out there who knows where to get hold on him?
  18. Mike: For the third time, I got my mail to you in return with the message below. Perhaps it`s time for a clean-up? If you have another mailadress, I can try a forth time, but this is my last attempt...... This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. 19. Mike: I sent you 4 pictures right now. This is third attempt. If you don`t receive it, click my mail som I get your correct mailadress. Rune
  20. See my answers in red Tomei 272 cams, Ferrerra valves (+1mm size), dual springs, 2 petrol pumps, 9 mm petrol pipe, Pentroof manifolds, front intercooler, tripple disc carbon clutch, ++++
  21. You are right. I am not a mechanic, I could never be one as good as the one I use, and you need to be exreamly enthusistic adn dedicated and have a lot of patience to build a high performance engine like this. The 300 engine is complex and is difficult to compare to other engines. I think my expert would recognize most of the good knowledge written by Broke-as,- obviously a wise guy. It is good that he focuses on the costs, when you start modifying, it is hard to stop as one thing takes the next. Bigger turbos implies more fuel, more air, more this and more that. Suddenly you need forged internals, downpipes, more cooling, clutch....... I have paid 30-40K so far for my engine. But it`s fun.
