300zx-engines Catching Fire?
My 300ZX TT-engine took fire yesterday. All that could burn, did so. A total disaster, I have spent 3 years on engine building, and it was complete in June this year, and now I have to start from the beginning again. I got a story from a ZX-enthusiast in UK telling me that he always leaves his bonnet open when he parks his car in his garage,- due to the fire risk. The engine cools faster then. He told me that petrol filter hose clamps that are not well tightened, might cause fuel fumes and fire as the engine increases heat after being switched off. My insurance company will probably investigate the cause for the fire, so if someone has some knowledge about engine fires after being switched off, I will be more than happy to hear about it.

Mr Rosenberg Around?
Any news out there about Peter Rosenberg and his new business? Is he still doing serious work with high customer satisfaction? I have never met a more competent and serious businessman, so if you read this, Mr Rosenberg,- please get in touch. I have a BIG project for you where your skills are needed. I hear that you have made impressive engines exceeding 700 BHP. Looking forward to a serious talk with you.

Optimal Turbos For 800 Bhp?
Someone with experience who can give med recommendations for optimal turbos for my TT? Except from turbos, the engine is fully prepared for 800 BHP. Mid-range working area for the turbos is preferred: not too early and not too late.

Larger Fuel Pump
Thanks a lot. Problem solved. The original pump provides 250 liters/hour so I added a smaller intank on 120 l/hour. Total is 370 liters, that should do. Hell of a job to get a 800 BHP engine. EVERYTHING except the block needs to be changed.

Larger Fuel Pump
800 BHP. I`ve heard that Skyline has one intank up to 1200 BHP....... Rune

Larger Fuel Pump
I need a large fuel pump (intank) pumping 350 liters/hour or 5,5 liters/minute. This is what is needed on 850 cc injectors. Anyone experts out there who might know?

Se Nissan/peter Rosenberg
Smithy; I have passed a question to you on your private mail regarding limits for the original exhaust manifold of a 300 TT 92-mod. Do you have any experience in this field?
-
Se Nissan/peter Rosenberg
Could you pls pass to him my name; Rune Vigdal He sure knows what I want from him. If he is not willing to let me know, I will let someone else track him, and they will find him.

I`ve tried to call SE Nissan in Maldon for a long time without getting through. Some rumours say that they have closed down. Someone out there who knows anything?

300ZX TT - Exhaust Manifold Limitations?
Perhaps someone of you with modified 300-engines can help me with my problem: My engine is heavily rebuilt, larger turbos, intercoolers, injectors, forged pistons, cams etc., and it seems that above 5000 RPM, the engine gets "strangled" and can`t get rid of the exhaust. I need to know what limitations the original exhaust manifolds represent when it comes to increased BHP. At what level in BHP will I need to modify to get good exhaust flow from the engine to the turbos?
