  1. Wow....so you have 604 RWHP now?:tank: I assume you don`t have a stock engine?
  2. I assume that you do not have the original engine power, since your bearings probably are broken. There is only one type of OEM bearings, but for high power engines, you should consider a different type. The original has a very good reputation, it consists of 3 different metal types and is very soft. So if you are not going to use the car in racing or other similar situations, you should go for the original. I have broken my original bearings, and replaced them with ACL bearings consisting of two metals. There are different opinions if this is a better bearing, but it has a proven record in high power engines. Since you anyway are going to open up the engine, I would recommend you to replace the originals with the ACLs. My engine is running at 826 FBHP (750 RWHP) with these bearings, so I believe they can stand quite a bit. Remember to change all bearings, also on the crank.
  3. We are interested to hear if you have increased the pressure from 1.2 ? If so, your 504 HP should be more then...... :thumbup1:
  4. I agree with you regarding regrind crankshaft. I highly recommend you to be careful and avoid high rpm or even starting it. The valves might smash into the pistons because of the broken bearings which I believe is most likely. You can be happy if the crankshaft is still fine. If not, it need to be not only regrinded but also balanced. This is for specialists only, not you brother. I can hardly see how you can get this checked out without taking out the engine.
  5. I have experienced the same. My bearings were broken. On low rev I heard almost nothing, just small tapping, on rev > 2000 it increased to knocking. Do NOT keep the engine running, you will damage the valves which will smash into the pistons because of the bearing is broken. If you are lucky, you can save the valves. Engine must out anyway. No quick fix. Be prepared for a big bill for this job, sorry for you, mate.
  6. How much is 586 RWHP on flywheel?
  7. Is your 586 HP on flywheel or RW ?
  8. Not so bad.....and how many times can you "push the throttle" before it`s empty?
  9. What is the price for the NOS-system? And what does it cost to fill it up?
  10. Hm - very nice. Since you`re from the UK, have you shown your Dyno to Macca? You seem to be in his class.
  11. Anyone with access to Macca`s dyno?????????????????????
  12. Great!! Wise words. It seems that some Zed-owners are not properly proud of our cars?? Why compare to other cars when we have probably the best sport car ever made? I would never be interested in any substitute like Ferrari or Lamborghini. They are overpriced with poor quality. You can hardly drive such a car 50.000 miles. End the maintenance cost is skyrocketing. A 6000-miles service costs £5000 here in Sweden. The smallest side window in the rear seat costs £2500. These cars are a big joke, if you ask me. They are not ment to be used.
  13. Has someone found any specs in the info about the car on 0-60, 0-100, 0-120 etc?
  14. I bought from Switzerland a 300ZX from 1996 with only 25.000 km (15.000 miles) on the counter, and paid only £17.000 for it. It was completely as original. After boosting up the engine, above 600 BHP, the car can be sold here in Sweden for more than £50.000. So there are always someone out there willing to pay for special cars......:smash:
  15. Here in Sweden, the quality of all the Zeds are very good. Age is on average app 17 years, (most cars from 1992/1993) but all cars are kept in good condition. The last model that came in 1996, is hardly obtainable. They were quite expensive as new, so perhaps that is why no-one can afford not to keep the cars in good shape. Average mileage is around 200.000 km (130.000 miles) so they are also well used. I think this still is a great car in spite of the age. :D:D
  16. Buddy, have you ever in your life heard about irony? If not, check it out on Wikipedia.......
  17. You are the boss, sir, we will do everything to meet your requests. :slap:
  18. I did not initiate this. :headvswal
  19. Well, that sets the conclusion in a new light. Bullshit is not welcome in this contest. MAC seem to be the winner then 586 RWHP ....:bow::bow: Any protests on this conclusion?:headvswal
  20. Hi Peter; Not very many Z-cars in Scandinavia. Probably less than 100 in total. This is one of the forum where you can sell parts: http://forum.200sx-ogn.org/ Register and join the forum, write english, everyone will understand and you will get good feedback. There is a separate 300/350 - section.
  21. Hi Peter; Will you be so kind to indicate what you have on your mind, ....
