Who has the most powerful ZX in the UK?
You should have listened to your father when you were a kid; "Save money for a smart car when you get older, and don`t buy sweets........":2guns:

Who has the most powerful ZX in the UK?
Excellent, totally new to me. I believed they did no changes the last 4 years in production after 1996. It still has 5 gears (only) ?

Who has the most powerful ZX in the UK?
Madmax: Your specs are impressive and brutal. This demonstrates that you have spent a lot of time and money to become the best or among the best! I`ll leave an open space for the power but put you on the list already now. I`ll be surprised if you don`t reach 700 RWBH. I have been through most of what you are now doing, spent perhaps more money than you. My first miss was actually in the UK, Mr Peter Rosenberg pretended to be an 300ZX expert and I blew £12K on this "poor" fellow who closed down his workshop a short while after "finishing" my car. A completely mess. I see that Kyle has helped you a lot. I use the same heads and specs on these, same cams, valves etc. I can tell you that the heads makes the big difference. Capacity is 750 BHP on each side, total of 1500 BHP. The engine has got a new "division" on levels above 4000 RPM. It is completely wild on high RPMs. This is the biggest difference you will notice and appreciate. So all credits to Kyle and his job on the heads. :thumbup1: I use some different types of parts as you, e.g. I use Turbonetics turbos, but capacities on all parts are more or less the same. I do not use NOS, and I use original ECU, it is actually possible to be used up to 1000 BHP. Not very many knows this. One thing which you might run into as a problem: backpressure. It dependes on the turbo design, but I had to redo the exhaust side of the turbo by porting them. Not a big job, cost is less than $150. Before this, I experienced backpressure from 1,5 bar. After, I blew pressure up to 2,3 bar. At that level, the OEM bearings gave up and are now replaced with ACL. The tuning was also refined after this "incident" and I decreased pressure to 2,0 bar and left it on this max level. So be aware of the back pressure issue. If you need something to be done here, I can give you contact data on the turbo porting expert. This job should not be left to "anyone". What do you mean by "96 gearbox"? This is new to me. Is this different from any earlier boxes? My car is a EU version from 1996, do I have this box then? Awaiting DYNO from you in the near future, MAC 1 will face a big challenge competing with you, it seems. Good luck further, and let us know as soon you have the numbers !!! :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Z tuning, but still low on power?
Hi again; What I can tell you, is that someone has messed with your car. A real amateur from what you write. Nothing makes sense. I recommend you again; get hold on a professional who knows what he`s doing. And don`t buy any new parts, you have all that is needed. Get rid of the "super shit" - it`s a waste of time. You need brain power from an expert, nothing less and nothing more. :gun_bandana::gun_bandana:

Who has the most powerful ZX in the UK?
Hi Madmax; where on the top 5 list above do you expect to end up? :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Who has the most powerful ZX in the UK?
This was the official list 2 months ago. There are no changes after that, and DYNOs are of course needed to get into this list. There seem to be many projects out there, but few proven results. So let us hear from :scooter::scooter:you now.................

Z tuning, but still low on power?
Hi buddy; Let me give you some good advise; I have been through this many years ago. First: what i HP? There are HP om rear wheels and HP on flywheel (engine) Which one have you measured? There is at least 10% (some say 15% on a standard HP engine) lower HP on wheels. So 280 original BHP on the European version, means 240-250 HP on the rear wheels. If your 313 is rear wheel HP, you have more than 350 engine HP. That sounds not so bad, it is 70 more than original. I have tried the Super Chip, and it gave almost nothing compared to all the promises and the price. It was a big disappointment. You don`t need any new chip: the original one can be used up to 1000 BHT. Not so many knows this. Search of the forum for those who have knowledge about this. It is absolutely not necessary to buy any new and expensive fuel management system or chip. The fuel management system is what it all is about, and here you will find all answers to what you need; turbo boost and more fuel is the essence. If you keep your aspirations below 400 rear wheel horses, and you have good exhaust pipes for proper breething, then everything is about the chip and the tuning. Return the super chip (sometimes called super shit), ask for your money back, and find someone in the UK with software to handle the original chip. You have a super car, and there are few obstacles from getting 400 BHP. talk to the right guys !! Simple but difficult anyway....:wink::wink: Good luck.

Rusted exhaust bolts
Good tools and big muscles is the only way to get it off, buddy......:hang:

SS manafolds
Strange name "Escort Service", first I thought of a Ford, then a sex shop..... But it`s a really beauty, and less expensive that Pentroof too. Have you installed them on your car? :hang:

Mac 1 around?
Hmmmm, impossible to read you. First I would assume that if it was MORE than 700, you would be eager to let us know. That means it is lower than 700. Then I realized that you are perhaps a good and old buddy of Mac and have promised to keep quiet. Could you confirm at least that this is correct guessed? :sweatdrop:

Mac 1 around?
I suspect that you know more than you are willing to let us know..... Will it be more or less that 700 BHP? :stupid:

Mac 1 around?
Months has passed since someone last heard from him and his upgrading...... Is his new beast ready soon, anyone out there with big ears ? :gun_bandana::gun_bandana:

SS manafolds
This is soooooooooo nice. A beauty, a masterpiece. You made them yourself Silverbullet? What`s the specs on this engine, and the power? You must have removed your front wheels to get place for this, or??:clap::clap:

SS manafolds
My Pentroof manifolds have not cracked after years in use. OEMs are working up to 450-500 horses, then they get too tight. So it depends what you want out of your engine. Don`t change them just to for the change`s sake. OEMs are very good an will last nearly forever, but there are limitations......:scooter:

Who has the most powerful ZX in the UK?
Come on, we are awaiting your results. If you are right, you will be place into no 4 in the "Top list of the the most powerful 300 ZX in the UK". Be prepared to deduct 10% from flywheel to rear wheel. :devil2:

Is anyone using Tomei cams?
Hi again, Madmax: I have Tomei cams. Cams, heads, valves, porting of heads was bought from SGP 1 year ago. I have a strong feeling that they are out of business, unfortunately if so Try these guys: http://www.nengun.com/tomei/ If you don`t get good answers, come back to me, I can get you all settings.:euro:

Engine out - what to upgrade/replace?
Crazy? I totally agree !! I also agree that your system is much more sophisticated. And time consuming.

Engine out - what to upgrade/replace?
I use the original ECU. It is possible to use this up to 1000 BHP. It works perfect after the many changes I have done on the engine. I have 3 ECUs: One with limit in 8500 RPM, one with limit 5500 RPM and one with limit 300 RPM. 8500 is for my use, 5500 is for other drivers and 300 is for parking making it impossible for stealing, it will simply never start. I have a 3-stage button hidden inside the car. Simple and effective !!
