  1. Any idea where I can get complete kit of ATS triple carbon clutch for 300ZX TT?
  2. Can you give us some specs, please?
  3. Impressive numbers !! Between 4000 and 6000 rpm, the engine releases 400 BHP. I guess this kicks pretty good........ Do you use E85 or ordinary petrol?

  5. Is there any change lately in the Top 10 list?
  6. Hi Madmax; This must be the most serious and well made project in the UK for a 300ZX. Your project site is impressive, also the fact that you probably have spent much time and money on the car. The result is amazing and is hopefully worth every penny and hour. I have been through many of your stages on the engine, and if you send me your mailadress, I can provide you with specs for my project, a car from year 1996 with only 40.000 km on the counter. It took me 4 years and 50.000£ - only on engine.
  7. Aha, I did not know there existed such a list. Good. Has Macca given up his Beast from East?:2guns:
  8. Rumors say that you have passed 550 RWHP. Correct?
  9. Hi Madmax; Strong rumours above say that you have something interesting going on.......
  10. Updated official list of the most powerful 300ZX in the UK as per 29. January 2010: * Bobgenie: 504 rwhp * Jaffa: 494 rwhp ( 516 rwhp peak previously) * Mikael Jackson: 483 rwhp * Bass: 514 at Hub (Thor dyno) * Silverbullet: 425 rwhp Are there any new projects out there to be added to the list?
  11. Hi mate; Be sure that you will NEVER finish. A 300ZX is a never ending project. The more you get out of it, the more you want for it. What went wrong or need to be improved?:confused1:
  12. Can you provide your mailadress her now, I will reply to you immediately.
  13. Hi again Michael; "Contact st" ........I don`t follow you,- what do you mean? Would you like to call me, e-mail me ?
  14. Hi again Bob; How did your Silverstone plans go?
  15. Hi Bobgenie; I have tried to collect 4 ZX-owners from Scandinavia, but the weekend 5.-6. june everyone is participating in Denmark at a huge arrangement named "Denmark`s fastest car" which is a drag-event. 25.000 people are gathered. So unfortuneately this date was difficult to manage. I hope there will come more chances. Best regards Jorgen. PS: Any news regarding Macca`s monster project?
  16. No, I don`t care and totally agree with you bobgenie. Don`t let this discussion get into a sidetrack. Let`s find and settle an appropriate date (preferably a day during the weekend for us from Scandinavia), accept the price and see how many who`d like to participate.:clap:
  17. Hi again Bobgenie; Any news from you?
  18. Regarding noise, do you know the limits? If Silverstone is realistic, when do you think this could happen?
  19. You are right that it is demanding maintenance on this level and that you need a mechanic nearby. But I have made attempts to see how far you really can go,- the car was used over a period of 2 months with 2,3 bar pressure. At his level the maintenance demand was huge. I believe that 2,0 will be a level of maintenance that will not kill me, but I have to be on the alert. I feel stronger and stronger that I can trust the engine at this level. Before the hub-DYNO, the engine was out of the car and measured in a "normal way". I don`t know what you call it in english, but the engine was not in the car, connected to water cooling, air, exhaust and ECU. The numbers were very similar to the numbers from the hub dyno. The difference was that we measured it only up to 1,4 bar as we at this time only had mapping up to this level. I am going to the hub dyno again in some few weeks, and I can ask them to measure only RWHP as I understand this is the "real" and only measure that is trusted in the UK.
  20. This was ment as a UK-list but I can show my DYNO-results with no intentions interfering with the list. The numbers come from a hub-dyno (DYNOPACK) and the results shown are flywheel-horses. If you pull out 8% from the numbers, you`ll get the rwhp. We got a air leakage in one rubber tube, so we stopped at 1,68 BAR. The tube was fixed some days later and pressure was then increased to 2,0 BAR. I need to go back to the DYNO to find out if 2.0 BAR has increased power, I don`t know this yet. BAR HP NM 1,0 458 575 1,1 501 615 1,2 543 657 1,3 589 701 1,4 635 744 1,5 717 812 1,6 783 843 1,68 826 844
  21. That is such a good idea if zeds could have an exclusive weekend there ! For us it is perhaps easiest to take the ferry fram Demnark to Harwick, app 100 km northeast of London, not far from Stanstead airport. Where is Silverstone located?
  22. Silverstone is absolutely a good idea ! If you accept visit from Scandinavia, 2 good friends of mine have many times suggested to go there. Both have engines > 600 BHP and are true enthusiasts. My engine is in the same class, so all 3 of us would very much like to come and visit you.:clap:
  23. Sorry BAZZ; I did not realize until now how your spelling was. Someone came up with your name and your numbers some time ago, I don`t remember who. I`ll correct this. I am not familiar with this "hub" term for the DYNO. can you explain this and what makes it different from an ordinary DYNO?:confused1:
  24. Hi again Bobgenie; Relevant an good reflections you raise.....Reliability is important, but I really don`t think enthusiasts here spend a lot of time and money on only short-term joy. This is so expensive so I am convinced that power engines are built to last. At least we must assume this...... To keep you position on the list, do you have any plans to meet the expected engine plans from Madmax and Mac 1 ? In a safe and sensible way of course.......
