  1. cayman has 265bhp.... cayman S is 320bhp Round the twisties the Cayman will give the z a run for its money. Ive been in a couple and they are setup VERY well. Even the basic of drivers will look like a pro round corners.
  2. omg come on.... why would u move a thread so the thread maker cannot even view it lol.
  3. yeah it does look slow from the outside lol, but as si has said above the longer gears give a false impression as though the cars are cruising along. The front wheel driven cars can cain it much earlier out of the corners in high revs which does sound as tho they are going alot quicker. The first run was pathetic lol, not sure how everyone else was but with mine being very stiff i didnt get much or even any body roll in the wet leaving me with hardly any tyre load, outcome was massive understeer in and out of the corners and zero grip on throttle :(, in the dry however i had plenty of grip and the brakes were working really well, i can remember sumshiftyguy being shuved forwards under braking lol.
  4. better tyres will make the drive a hell of a lot better on the track, i know from experience lol :D last time at castle combe i had pirelli p zeros on BUT i didnt realise how old and brittle they had gotten not to mention being bald on the insides. YES p zeros are an awesome tyre but there were like plastic, i just fitted falken 452's although they are an average tyre what a difference they made im so suprised. Managed to track it this time with more confidence, even in the rain they felt better than the old ones.
  5. murt, linglong tyres are not suppose to be fitted to the rear of these cars trust me lol. p.s i didnt spin in the wet this time ;)
  6. was one of the best days out this summer, awsome. Mine was performing 100times better than last time, cant believe what a difference new tyres made, incredible.
  7. Dont event think they are suppose to work when engine is cold for first few mins. Anyway they wont affect running really.

if im coming from london where would i have to meet you guys? isnt 6:45 from up bristol too early, i got to make the briefing and sound test for first track session so im hoping to get there by 8:30 which means il have to leave at about 6:30 and im further away.
  10. u taking it on the track?
  11. didnt think the carbon canister had any buttons :wack: lol
  12. Hmmmm il bare that in mind, Just thought having that higher boiling point would help on the track.
  13. fluids always been new dot 5.1, it came out clean so ive just bled them again, already have the brake stopper :D
  14. my ebs discs are 324 r33 discs bit bigger than the 315mm. ah im so happy to finally rid of the stock calipers and have me a nice solid larger monoblock. Not sure what im gunna do with the rears yet.....
  15. woo thats a good thing then, ive seen your brake setup car.mad, its superb, wouldnt mind seeing how they perform and what they feel like.....
  16. Im running 18 inch fronts on a 8.5j that are et32 but i have 20mm spacers fitted so my offest is +12 on a 225/40/18 tyre.
  17. Well the brackets are made which cost more than the calipers lol, I painted them to protect from rust. with good ol hammerite which will take the heat. Bought some heat treated ebc 324 discs, dont know how long they will last before they warp but its a start :D The pads are a perfect fit to the discs surface, what a flook. And i got me all the bolts to fit them in :D Just got to pick up the car in a hour from the spray shop, then i can get working on fitting it all together.
  18. Im there.
  19. i did a home job on mine.. lol the lines have faded and look orange now :( look shite, defo go for 99 spec, i am soon.
  20. If you go for poly engine mounts you will have to have a heat shield made around them as turbos/manifolds will get too hot and cause premature failure, i think your best option would be stock engine mounts, they can take plenty of power (ive heard)
  21. Every now and again il have a naked bird pop up on my msn list.... And its always one of those automated spy bots trying to fool me into giving out my crdit cards details... So this time i was prepared.... lol
  22. lol i was justdiscussing this add with someone. and it just came on this second agaoin lol
