  6. I think lisa's plate was buckled to begin with leading to premature wear. unless hers was old stock and had passed its sell by date in which the material looses its bedding in properties or something like that.

  12. Hi smithy thanks for all the help. ok another update just did yet another air leak test this time there are no leaks, pressured the system till the tester popped out, although i could here a very slight hiss from the canister behind the nearside intercooler but im sure its nothing as i squirted soapy water at it and nothing happend, sounds like its coming from inside the canister. The system doesnt hold pressure for that long though is that normal? Will check the plenum heat thing and post another update. Im sure they are balanced... how do you check if they are balanced coz im sure i balanced them a few months ago, the way i did it was to make sure both butterflys opened at the exact same time is there more to it? I marked the cas postion before i removed and polished it to be sure its back at 15 degrees and it looks bang in the middle. Scott did a diagnostic check which came back fine. Vjay will be taking a visit to my house later in the week with a conzult so till then theres not much else i can do??? Can a mod please change the title of this thread to "Woohooo just isolated my problem.... NOT" Thanks

  15. Thats on my list to do later today when my friend gets here with a volt meter. I tell ya what i have just done though, taken out all the spark plugs cleaned off all the coke and replaced them but still no diference. By the way is this the correct plug ngk pfr6b11c the plugs were all coked up and some of them had a bit of a bronzy colour on the tips? i hope its not fooking detting jesus christ. Seems as though the car doesnt wanna reach running temperature either stays at about 1/4 not sure if the sender is faulty or not? pipes feel hot. Can someone also tell me what the temp sensor volt readout should be as i want to eliminate this as a problem because i bought a new one from car spare factors so theres a slight chance it may be incorrect.
  16. OK done another boost leak test, leaking brake booster pipe and pcv hose, changed brake hose and tightened pcv but still no joy, im still having the exact same running issue, runs far better without tps connected so thats staying off till its fixed.

  18. As long as they are polished, coz thats m,ainly what i want, i dont fancy paying extra for a silly noise. but if i can get polished ones with bovs at the same price so be it.
