  1. LMFAO!     :D
  2. Used my old S12 Silvia as an example + also went to the extent of sticking bits of tape all over the bonnet to visulise high and low pressure. I'll be able to explain better when I show the pics next week but it just so happens the Z32 has a perfect bonnet angle for getting rid of hot air. If you positon vents above each side of the turbos then air will pass over causing hot air to be dragged out from underneath the bonnet at quiet a rate (Cool turbo's = better power + more efficient) also if you can do the same for the front rad with the vented reverse bonnet bludge which the Z centre sell that will also do wonders in pulling hot air out.. Gonna measure the temp of the intake plenum today after a good caining sesh then when bonnet vent gonna measure it again with a heat detecting laser gun thingy! (Don't know it's actuall name!!) Whould see a drop of at least 22 degrees.. (sorry to be so long winded!)
  3. It definatly gonna be calle Vista and does look very MAC OS... It's gonna be much better than XP though especially for anyone running an AMD64 Processor which is what it was written & optimised for.
  4. I agree! Got one in mine and the always say "Can I push the Big Red Start Button!"
  5. Getting mine done this week and will put pictures on when it's done.. The Z does generate to much heat and there performance gains to be had in keeping things nice and cool. We all got 2 Turbo's generating loads of heat + 2 manifolds so I'm getting vents positoned directly above those + and outward air duct so air can flow in as well as getting rid of nasty hot air.. Done loads of research into what's gonna work well so this should be fullproof!! :duffer:
  6. Welcome home bud! Glad all is ok..
  7. Don't forget you're gonna gear the barstard up so much you will loose acceleration performance but have awesome top end power!!!
  8. Congrats Timmy!!! Let the sleepless nights begin!! Well worth it though bud..
  9. Not to mentions Macca's beast sampled at full chat for the deep bass notes and some blow off valves included in the Mix!!
  10. Dunno mate with the wonders of Broadband and modern technology i'm sure we could eventuattly come up with something!!
  11. Christ - we could all start a Z band here!! No seriously, this is my other hobbie apart from my Z. Have been writting and producing, composing tunes for about 10Years now - have got a little home studio set up here with Synths, 2 old Amiga's for sequncing (But not used much anymore) Mixing desk, DSP effects unit + Rack mounted kit etc. Very much into Trance, Techno Dance stuff with influences such as B.T, Armin can Burren, Tiesto, Depeche Mode, New Order, Kraftwork - Aphex Twin etc Gonna start doing some more soon as I get some spare time!!
  12. Dave, I think that's CHA CHA CHA yer on about!! ;)
  13. Check the throttle sensor mate cause if it's not wotking correctly then your Z will always idle above 1000Rpm
  14. :smash:  At the traffic lights the other day a kid came over on his BMX and said "What kinda car is that?" told him it was a 300ZX he said "It looks well fast! How fast will it go?!" told him 212MPH!!! He then goes "My dads goes my dads got a Lotus Elite and he says that will do 180MPH!!!" Just goes to show his dad and me are both full of sh1t!!
  15. 165Mph then it bounced off the limiter!! Where can I get a chip that will deresrtict that to give me the extra!!!
  16. If you get the Blitz cone get rid of the splash guard all together - you don't need it & having it there is just depriving yer filter of nice fresh air!! You will then get loads of air under the front spoiler circulating the cone and get the strostek front nose to let air in from above - Job done max air flow to filter all times!! Trust me been running my Z for 3 yrs with this exact set up and no water or running problems ever!!  :duffer:

Dude, what sort of back boxes are you using cause I'm gonna need em to :hyper: go with those awesome tail pipes!! Thanks, Jon
  18. I'm sure it been proven on here before but the Blitz SUS is the best available for the Z as it's metal based and isn't affected in wet weather!! Have had one on mine for 3 years now without any running problems in all weathers. Also i've got a vented headlight panel and Blitz makes the best induction noise!! Ask Luke at the Z centre for more details as that's who I got mine from!! Cheers, Jon
  19. That's aweful.. A new KFC is just about to open in Newquay close to where I live.. Was looking forward to going as this would be the only one in Cornwall but not even gonna try it after seeing that.
  20. Find out who it is mate let me know and i'll come kick bas tard living fook out whoever did it. Someone doing that to your Z is like someone trying to violate yer misses!! :wack: :wack: :mac1: :D
  21. Is it a geniuine cartride you're using as the X1180 is a bugger - you can only use offical lexmark cartridges in it and it remembers if 3rd party one have been used in it's EPROM so be careful!! I service them! Check all the contacts on the print head cart are shiny and not pealed off..
  22. Sorry, had a few too many sherberts tonight!! I ment that picture of the hamster!
