  1. Here is a pic of them. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=133039 They are only the fronts though, the rears are a deep dish. Pics don't really do them any justice, so much sexier in the flesh :D
  2. They are Blitz Type 03. They hand out the arches on my Zed as i was intending on fitting a wide arch kit. Pretty sure they will hang out the arches on the NSX also. Wouldn't want to wide arch or flare the arches on the NSX so hoping i can get the wheels to fit. Would i need to get the tyres removed? Would it be really risky damaging the wheels?
  3. Surely there would be allot of movemet in a exhaust system. Hence why it is suspended with rubber thingys. So surely that is a bad idea as the force of the movement has to go some where and possibly which may of caused the leak? e.g. the exhaust moving which then meant the gas tank moving which then you have friction and would where it down very slowly where it makes contact with any other metal parts.
  4. My wheels have a really large offset or is it small offset Anyway they stick out the arches. Is it possible to change this offset so they don't stick out so far? This will involve cutting the metal centre down on the inside of the wheel. These were expensive made to order 3 piece wheels, is this a good idea even if it is possible? Obviously i wouldnt attempt myself and would take to a specialist but where could i take them?
  5. haha football or cars.... mmm.... cars :D
  6. I applied for a job in the NHS last week. Good luck.
  7. Also adding to that i have seen cars with a stick on number plate on the top of the windscreen, adds a drift kind of look, not for everyone.
  8. i found a really cool license plate holder, it folds away. Really cool right? maybe illegal folding away for day use but would be nice for meets and shows. http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/exterior_performance_products/NSX/ScienceofSpeed/Stealth_License_Plate/ I might order one within the next few months, if i do then i'll let you guys know so you can get it a lil cheaper.
  9. Do you watch Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel? They done a special on beating speed cameras and as i remember none of the so called products of methods work even beating it by speed.
  10. mmm... abflug... very nice...
  11. Are you planning on doing a engine rebuild? As i have loads.... aftermarket parts for sale.
  12. Never seen the originals. House is pretty good. Everyone loves Raymond is pretty funny as i can relate to it, my brother is the golden child in our house.
  13. haha dress it up like Top Gear does :P I'm half retarted then, i enjoy it for the wrong reasons. I don't really watch top gear as a car program but for a laugh which is wrong really. Fifth Gear is better in terms of a actual car program. But Top Gear always comes on top. Clarkson and May are awesome as always!!
  14. Yeah same here. Not much happens but still insist on watching it. Started, well tried to get into NCIS with LL Cool J, but couldnt into it.
  15. As for the 6.5 fronts you will get a better sound from a set of components. That is where the tweater is seperate from the mids.
  16. Also I have only listed my parts for sale on here at the moment to give members the chance and oppertunity to get some good deals. I will give it a couple more weeks until i start listing my parts else where. As for payment i have recently had a very bad experiance with paypal and nearly lost about £700 because of them so i would like to stay way clear if i can. I can accept personal cheques, bank transfer or cash.
  17. I have been busy listing my parts in the for sale section. Please note that some of the parts are still on the car and i do have allot of interest in the parts. So i have taken a few Thursdays and Fridays to take parts off and prepare for postage so please bare with me. Some of the bigger parts are sold as On Nearest Offer. But please bare in mind i do have allot of interest so i will not accept silly offers. Most my parts are brand spanking new, or only 1000 road miles old. I have stated which are which. Because of that my prices are not silly low prices as they are not old and abused parts, everything should be in A1 mint condition or other wise stated. I would like to sell the engine package asap as it will start to get surface rust. With my bigger packages i have for sale and you have your eyes on something smaller then please feel for a lower price on the smaller item as i will appreciate moving on the bigger items. I don't want people reading this thinking i am desperate to sell but just to tell everyone how it is and be as honest about everything as i can. Some of the parts are very rare and some of the best products money can buy, take my diff for example you can buy a Kaaz or such lsd for about £600 i think by the Quaife is a totally different league and believe me costed the earth to get my hands on. I just wanted to justify and explain how it is really. Thanks...
  18. The other way to look at it is.. I know several people who have spent allot of money tuning their cars and they are scared of them, they will feather the throttle and not get the most from their cars as they were cautious and didn't know the breaking point when the rear would give. Then there was me and my car in, i could just nail the accelerator in every gear, the RL allowed X amount of slip so in other words i got the most from my car i could as where they don't as they are very cautious and don't know what the exact point they can take it upto. And if you wanted some fun, just by a flick of a switch it is off. with a birght warning l.e.d.
  19. It's a really good system. completely switchable, on and off with different amount slips between. When i got my car back from being mapped first time round it was pushing 520bhp, if i dropped down from 5th to 4th and kicked it hard the rear end would light up and kick out. It was hard work to drive, With the RL i left it on the lowest setting as a fail safe. My dad has a Granada Cosworth not the fastest of cars but when booting it he lost the rear end and spun it around. With RL would this of happened? unlikely, it would of corrected him as it would not of allowed will spin for it to spin out which resulted in writing the car off. If and as you start tuning the car you will find the RL one of your best purchases, also watch the video on the RL website how cars corner with it on compared to off, take a much tighter and cleaner line. You can argue the best drivers don't need RL and faster without it but they are proffesionals who race day in and day out. Some car manufactures are starting to fit the RL setup to their cars. Top gear features a car which had it installed by the factory. At the end of the day we are all humans and the RL is a fail safe and corrects us if we make that mistake which could resort in loosing the end and who knows where that may leave you. I never got round to using the Launch control feature so can't comment on that and is worth it even without that.
  20. It wires up to the abs unit which is behind the drivers seat and behind the trim to the side of the rear seat. It is a little blue box. Most of the wiring is done there. Race Logic is one of the best traction control units availible because it detects wheel spin by using the abs sensors. Others don't work in this way and will cut power not as accurately.
  21. Yeah it was all the rough edges. Is that really normal? Looked like they were damaged but couldn't understand why they would do it.
  22. I have a funny feeling the garage smashed up my old heads on purpose, have a look through the pics and tell me what you think? When you look through the below heads look at the hole bits, they look cracked and smashed, are the heads like this normally? is there any reason why this may have been done? Surely if they were dropped or were damaged funny how it has happened to every single hole on both heads! also all parts that come out of the heads look fine. I think they have done this out of spite but who knows, make your own conclusion, i was going to use these as they kinda stole my other heads (refused to give them back)
