  1. Originally i didnt want green and they are very rare. I wanted a 1997 onwards, uk car, targa manual with decent mileage and full honda service but to get that car i had to be liniant on the colour. Originally i wanted Yellow, White, Black or Blue. I wasnt sure on the red as that was the most common colour, silver i didnt fancy, neither with Green, purple and gold. But... I saw this one come up looked really nice and well looked after example. I searched NSX Prime for Green ones and found a thread and omg!! there are some sexy one. Green and Carbon fibre looks awesome. So that's the drive. As for the Supercharger comment, agreed i would like one but before i go down that road im doing the odd several things first and trying the Type-R final drive gearing. I think i will end up going down the supercharger route though.
  2. Does anyone know of any good sites to calculate the transmission loss? I found one site that said for a RWD car you add 10bhp then devide it by .88 to get your FWHP. Surely being a mid engine and front engine the Transmission loss is different?
  3. Thanks guys... Very Chuffed with it. Yeap that's by idea going to combine the Type R kit with the facelift kit keeping the pop ups as that is the reason i went for pre face lift. Also mix it up with a little Carbon in places. I'm not going to do anything bond on and keep it to things i can swap back. Although i might do the Sourcery rear bumper and go for Do Luck side skirts as they are very slick. Yeap I live with my parents still. Would like to up the power a little also, well maybe more than a little i guess. I'm going to go for weight saving on this one. I tried to take some more pics but me and the camera had a slight dis agreement, camera was too smart for it's own good haha.
  4. I finally found the car i had been looking for :D Well chuffed with it. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1332790.htm And another one not on the add. This car really is shocking! book figures are 276bhp which put doubt in my mind before buying it but goes to show why it was a £73,000 car when new. My brother has a RX7 Full standalone engine management, full exhaust system, Induction kit giving him about 340bhp which in a rotary believe me is fast and the RX7 is very light and has a 50/50 weight ratio. He is 64bhp up on the NSX and peformance wise there is nothing in it at all, we are neck and neck. I was shocked!! expecting him to smoke me. He couldnt believe it either. I'm glad i waited for the right one and didnt rush in.
  5. From what i can make out the repair work was done by himself. He is going to email me over some pics of the before damage. Thanks,
  6. Could i have some thoughts and info on a damaged and repaired Cat D? The thing is i can get the car really cheap. I'm going to modify it and de value it anyway as everyone likes original NSX cars so for my case does it matter it is Cat D. The guy said there is no certificate of the work carried but as it is a Cat D you dont need one. Would this affect the issurance being a CAT D?
  7. Does anyone know what the length of the camshafts are in our cars? Thanks.
  8. :D Yeah think they will suit the car, just not sure if they are the right sizes really. most guys go for a 17 on the front and 18 on the rear, weird hey? I would be going for 18's all round which is different to what others do, think they do it for handling as the nsx is a mid engine.
  9. keep as a maybe...
  10. I'm not sure what to do with these... Do i keep and fit on the NSX? or do i sell? If i was to sell would anyone be interested? They are not the cheapest of wheels. They were made to order and took 6 months to arrive. They have never been driven on and will come with 5Zigen light weight locking wheel nuts, and i really do mean light weight :D They are the Blitz Type 03. Think they are 18x8 on the front and are 18x10 on the rear. They come with brand new tyres, never driven on. Toyo Proxies and i have got a 295 on the rear. They also come with Blitz Valve caps and Blitz Centre badges. These wheels are mega expensive. Think i paid over £3000 with tyres. If i was to sell i would be selling for £2600 and pick up is required. Here are some pics, help me decide what to do... :( What do i do.... ???
  11. my Brides are for sale. As picture above. Brand spanking new http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=133142
  12. I'm selling my Specialty Z EXP-90 turbo kit. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=133024 Based on Garrett GT3071R's
  13. To be honest, that's why i've not really pushed the sale of it and not bumped the add. As i wouldnt want it going to a forum member. If anyone was to show interest in it i would first explain to them why not to go for one. Might just bung it on ebay, sell it to a guy with 800bhp from some stickers and a dump valve :P
  14. Here is a link to the sale of my one piece one. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=132485 But as pm i would stay far away from a one piece on your spec, go for one with a damper (harmonic).
  15. I would guess the ones in the last post are for the inner wheel arch guardes. If you are running your inner arch guardes or a under tray i think a few of them are for that. But other wise i wouldnt bother. Look how rubbish and flimsy they are, seriously what are they meant to support? One also may be for the horn, but that is a guess.
  16. I think the ones in the second post sit under the front wings where the bolts go through into the bumper.
  17. yeap :D Don't think they would be suitable for your spec anyway.
  18. Was reading through the previous posts. I have lightweight pulleys for sale.
  19. I think they are... front 235/40/18x9 et35 rear 295/35/18x10 et22
